Maybe it was to show Omala that she is like her brave and older sister Bissama. It’s probably the baby’s first hair cut and Burma put Bissama’s hood on (which Bissama seem to at first slightly protest), to show support or reinforce whatever her mother was saying and doing with Omala. This seems more likely than Burma’s actions deriving from a belief that her mother does not love her sister. If anything Burma’s actions is to support her mother’s encouraging Omala at the expense of the middle child especially since Burma could see that Omala was looking at Bissama. I’m glad that Bissama went along with it, despite her initial reaction.
It is really a shame that the toddler is the only one who gets to experience mom happy and carefree. It’s is very unfair and unfortunate mom can’t let ALL her children experience it.

I've been following the daily life of this family on this channel for just one month. The unequal treatment is truly obvious in this video because the mother is constantly yelling at Birma and Bissoma, while she's kind, affectionate, considerate and smiley towards Omala. A loving and fair mother would not behave like this.
