I met you at the Iridium a few years back and you absolutely are amazing. More soul than a soul itself. Hope you come to North Jersey sometime soon. Would love to see you amaze me again. Does anyone else have tone like Andy? So pure! I met him at NAMM in '08. He was such a nice guy. Humble. Down to earth. Friendly and instantly likeable.
It's a *LOVE FEST!* Andy seems like the swellest dude. Always great to hear him play, and when he speaks about the music or the products, it's always with such grace and 'giving.' Lovely.
I'm always in awe of what comes out that guitar whenever Andy does his thing. One of the most expressive players out there. Definitely going to be adding this and the Halo to my board in the future
Thank you for sharing this tremendous musician and you, Andy, just to tell you that I am a guitarist, I am 66 years old and I have admired you for many years... Greetings and hugs to both of you from Buenos Aires, Capital of my country, Argentina....
I met Andy several years ago. He treated me great and too, the time to must talk to me during one of his breaks. He is an amazing player, but also a super nice guy.
I currently use Andy Wood's Wampler Gearbox OD because I want two ODs but keep my pedalboard small. I would LOVE this Keeley pedal in a dual OD format so I can have a rhythm OD and a lead OD. I'm happy with the Gearbox since I play in a classic rock cover band and it gives me ordinary '70s rhythm nasty and soaring '80s lead tone, but I'd like to have a small blues pedalboard with this pedal.
The pedal is perfect, imo. Sweet and articulate, not too fizzy, but it also gives you all the growl, bark and scream you could ask for. I've been using my non-stop for the last few days and it's already an ESSENTIAL part of my pedal board. Highest recommendation, and congrats to both Robert Keeley and Andy Timmons! Reply
It can have that chime to it for sure, even though the two circuits are very different electrically. But sonically it can cover that when the Tone switch is set for AT.
I just bought the Muse Driver, it really sounds and reacts like yours in the video, it's a real joy to enjoy your awesome pedal! ♥️😽 Thank you very much Master Andy, God bless you ! ♥️😽🙏💝❤️💖
Gracias por compartir a este musico tremendo y a ti andy solo decirte que soy guitarrista tengo 66 años y te admiro desde hace muchos años ...Saludos y abrazo a los dos desde Buenos Aires Capital de mi pais Argentina....
The Blues Driver has been my favorite overdrive since I first picked one up in the late 90s. I missed out on the Super AT Mod, so this was an immediate purchase for me. Can't wait to give it a whirl. Even if I won't sound nearly as good as Andy.
I discovered Andy a few months ago and was blown away. Such a humble guy and so artistic and clean. Trying to get a little of his tone when I play clean, seems he uses mostly the neck pickup, anyone know? I’m usually EVH or Metallica distorted so clean is another tone I’m chasing.
Use your volume, higher gain bring the volume on your guitar down and tame it. Roll it up when u need that extra gain. That’s how I play works great I’ve got some really great tones doing this on higher gain pedals or amps.
That's what it is. When people strive together to reach a goal that rises above each individual aspiration. Got my Halo. Paying real attention to this driver. I am speaking as one who has a KOT and a Henderson modded RC Booster.
I love this. Love Andy’s playing and his dynamic tone. People like him and Don Carr never sound anything but glorious no matter what gear they play. The BD-2 is my favorite pedal and is the pedal that inspired me to pick up a guitar.
I'm amazed at how well the halo behaves. when the gain is up it's not swimming in echo, but when the gain is low, it's still got like almost the same echo level. I don't know how he does that when it's not 4cm!?
That is the Halo dual echo sound we created for him. Echoes fad into a reverb wash, or halo, and they almost duck behind the notes you are currently play. It's a really nice effect.
I have the super at mod and absolutely adore it. And the recording I’ve done with it, every producer that hears it in comparison with anything else, they always tell me to go back to “the red one.” So maybe I’ll pick this one up because I’m running a big board and a small board so I could probably keep one on each board.
Awesome pedal, as always from the great Robert Keeley. Yet let's all face the fact that a true master like Andy Timmons can absolutely make a Korg Miku sound amazing. XD
I just got a BD-2W for xmas and it beat out my Klone and KOT and Bonsai as my preferred OD. I gotta try this now... smh 😔 Just when I thought my search was over 😅

I wish I would’ve know that before I bought the black one. But I bought it so quickly, I didn’t check into it. Love your pedals. The Halo is unbelievable as well!
How close are Andy's pickups to the strings!? LOL, those Dimarzio Cruisers sure do look like almost about to touch the strings. So much of Andy's tone is on the Man Himself.

Thank you very much! It does have less fizziness in the design! You want the bark and growl, but not the ice-pick fizz....
The AT drive mode has almost like this bluesbreaker style chime to it, love it!

It's a Dimarzio Cruiser, bridge model. Putting it in the neck position gives it the brightness that neck pickups tend to lack.

Timmons is a brilliant player. And how he gets those strat tones with humbuckers. Wow.
The AT-Mod was my first overdrive. Experimented with others, but I keep returning to the AT. Looks like I might be picking up a Muse driver to stack.
I love that pick attack. And the presence it has
“ Tone Quest “ - love it!
Everything Robert and Andy put out yiu know is going to sound killer period 👌
What a tone he has , love it.
Andy’s always so thorough! I bought the halo but it wasn’t for me, it’s still a great delay. I love his vibe! Cool dude!
Got my Muse OD .. it’s wayyy cool.! Has that great glassy tone… and a few other features.. I love it.!
Love the sounds ❤
In the beginning of the video, I kept expecting Mr. Timmons to play Mr. Beck’s “Where were you”.
Such great feel
I missed out on the AT supermod... I hope this one isn't a limited!
According R.K. himself, the MUSE is 'NOT' a limited run offering.
So you have some time, well at least until they try to top it!

it is indeed! Interesting changes to key parts of the circuit that give you new tones.
