I have the same variant in dark edition. Bought the dark edition during its launch. Black color makes this look like a beast. I did face mileage issues during initial days but it got better with time. Tata can still bring some improvements to its AMT and tune it better.
@@SnehasisPanda if you are a new driver like me and then you won't feel much of a difference. They have improved AMT software over time so it's much more refined now. There is still room for improvement though.
Hi All, I own Nexon XMA and i just love this car. I bought it in month of Nov 2021 and then had trip from Pune to Rajasthan. In this trip total km traveled was 2800, mileage was 18 to 19, performance and comfort was very good more than expectation, AMT performance was really very good on all roads. One thing i would like to add here that i drive the car mostly in City and ECO mode. In city traffic i would suggest you to use Eco mode bcoz i manages the power requirement and gives good mileage as well. In city traffic using Eco mode mileage was 13 to 14 and using city mode it was 10 to 12. People should definitely buy Nexon AMT who are searching for AMT.
@@SohanManhas Hi, there is jerk while shifting gears but it totally depends on how to operate accelerator. Once you start riding amt within 5-6 days you will come to know when to release and operate the accelerator while shifting gears. This will reduce jerk by 70 %. In eco mode you will experience more jerk and in city and sports less jerks.
Many people likes automatic because of easy of driving and few likes Manual to get the insta speed and for fast overtakes ..depends on their driving.. both has gd sides and bad sides .it's just people's choice . respect for all . 🙏
I own nexon XZA. Nexon AMT is awesome in my opinion. Even better than a DCT in terms of life. DCT has a much shorter life due to complicated components.
The Nexons AMT should upshift to 3rd gear at 33 kmph even in city mode. Although city mode balances both performance and mileage it should learn to upshift when the car is cruising at a minimum required speed for upshift. The eco mode sips fuel at lower speeds and it's only useful in speeds above 70kmph..

I love to buy the Nexon diesel amt. I am upgrading from Ignis 1.2 Petrol Amt. So I love the Amt gearbox and I don't feel anything as it was my first car the ignis amt 1.2. Should I buy the Nexon 1.5 diesel amt or should I wait for the upcoming Nexon facelift? Please sir reply it's very urgent. And from the place where I am living the nearest service center is close to 110 km🙂 And that's is of Maruti, tata, and Mahindra. Mahindra's service was very bad since many of my friends have done it there. So I had no option left out with Maruti and Mahindra and tata( tata Desh ka loha)

buy a second hand car like cheap car , drive it for 1-2 year , learn every thing then buy new vehicle , it would be nice learning curve , if you are in new only then can buy nexon , no reason for buying small car

Sometimes these small decision do matter in life, like in case of my friend who brought a compact hatchback to learn driving and he learned very quickly, within a year he was very confident. But then he was regretting that why did he went for a compact hatchback as it was creating bottle neck in respect of boot space and taking family out.
i learnt basic car driving in 15days,but i use to take my car expert driving friend like a support for few days. he taught me few tricks how to drive on steep roads, reverse gear tricks, parking tricks, later i took car alone on city roads and slowly got confident to drive alone in city, later i took it on highways slowly, so i believe you need atleast a year to learn to near perfect. so buy new one and your loved car and start journey. the more you drive the more you learn. cheers ☝️

Instead of going with Tata Nexon AMT people should try Maruti SCROSS with genuine automatic…even though it is 4 speed automatic … gear shifts are very smooth and offers great space and luxury at the same price … plus naturally aspirated engine which is refined since decades

@@Sn-cr5gm I have petrol. N H levels are okay if you are at lower RPMs anything higher 2500rpm then it does start to show some noise.
