It is difficult to pinpoint the beginning of trap production, but much production by gucci and jeezy's producers was a large factor in innovating in a popularizing trap production. (idk if i would really consider TI's trap muzik trap) Salem is which house, witch is influenced by trap production. trap edm is more recent and also takes elements of trap hip hop production
