This brings tears to my eyes. I have bad sleeping problems and keep waking up at night. Coincidentally always right before fajr. As if the angels are doing this to make me pray. Only after prayer I can go back to sleep. Sometimes I can’t. It makes me very frustrated. Now, I will try to spent the time lost to sleep to worship even more to insha Allah reach the maqam al Mahmood

If chatgtp(so called artificial intelligence software) was asked a religious question by a Muslim such as "is this action allowed or not",the software may generate an answer like this "yes, its allowed. The evidences are...etc etc"
If a real scholar was asked the same question, his reply would be different. He may want to know the background and the motivations of the questioner and tell him "that issue is for people of high imaan(people for whom Allah granted special elevation in perception). You must only work on deen(basic belief) and work on character building. Or if the questioner is too stubborn,he may get a reply like "keep your mind at rest and stop eating too much spices"

It is the quality of your prayers that counts, starting with the obligatory prayers. On the whole, you should divide the number of prayers (apart from the obligatory prayers) / voluntary prayers in such a way that you can perform them throughout the year without major ups and downs or even interruptions. Continuity and sincerity is what your Lord asks of you. Other than that, I hope you get over your CFS soon if you haven't already.

Prophet PBUH Said, its better to pray the تہجد at Home in the month of Ramadhan
      Sahih Bukhari#731
      Status:
Narrated Zaid bin Thabit: Allah's Apostle made a small room in the month of Ramadan (Sa`id said, I think that Zaid bin Thabit said that it was made of a mat ) and he prayed there for a few nights, and so some of his companions prayed behind him. When he came to know about it, he kept on sitting. In the morning, he went out to them and said, I have seen and understood what you did. You should pray in your houses, for the best prayer of a person is that which he prays in his house except the compulsory prayers.

To my Suni brothers. Rasululah prayed Tarawih but by himself (Furada ) and not in congregation. This was introduced by Omar Khatab and it is wrong. You can not pray Nafila prayers in congregation (Jamaa) . Do it yourself in the comfort of your house what Rasulullah used to do and is the correct Sunna.

8 or 20 Rakah - coincidentally or intentionally?
Unity of the community is important, but so is fulfilling the Sunna. In Ramadan, we are sometimes torn between how to pray the Tarawih prayers. Some say that the prayer is 20 rakats, others say it is 8 rakats.
Shaykh Rami Nsour explains that, the first thing we should do, is not to cause disunity in the community, and go about our actions with the best possible etiquette.
He then goes on to explain about the different Sunnas relating to the Tarawih prayers, and how the Prophet Muhammad began by praying them in the mosque. However, he later prayed them alone in his home so that people would not think they were obligatory. After his death, the Caliph Umar moved the prayer back to the mosque, because people no longer felt that it was mandatory.
This case teaches us that we can do Tarawih both at home and in the masjid. In terms of length, some jurists say that even 2 rakats qualify as Tarawih prayer.
Shaykh Rami encourages us to choose whichever routine suits us best. It is good to pray at the masjid if it encourages you, but if you can maintain the routine, you can do it at home. In addition, we can pray up to 20 rakats, or less if we can’t do 20. The important thing is to do as much as you can keep up, and do it sincerely for Allah.

Tarawi prayer is proven to be twenty rakats not eight. Although some have proven the hadith of the Prophet (PBUH) about 20 Rakat Tarabi to be unreliable in terms of sources; According to the pure sources, the actions of the Companions prove that the Companions received the teaching of twenty rakats from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). Since the caliphate of Ameerul Momineen Hazrat Umar Farooq (R.A.), twenty rakats of tarabi have been recited in all mosques, including Masjid al-Haram in Makkah Sharif and Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah Sharif. During this long period, eight rakat tarabi was not practiced anywhere.
Yazid Ibn Khusaifa (R.A.) said, Sahab Ibn Yazid (R.A.) said that during the era of Hazrat Umar Ibnul Khattab (R.A.), the Companions used to recite twenty rakats of tarabee in the month of Ramadan. He also said, they used to recite surahs with hundreds of verses in prayer and during the time of Hazrat Uthman Ibn Affan (ra) they used to stand on their sticks due to long prayers. -As Sunanul Kubra and Baihaqi, 2/496/4288
According to another source Sahib Ibn Yazid (R.A.) said, We used to pray twenty rakats and witr during the era of Hazrat Umar Ibnul Khattab (R.A.). -As Sunanul Kubra, Baihaqi- 1/267-268
Tabee Ibn Abi Yuwab (RA) said, during the era of Hazrat Umar (RA), the Qiyam or Tarabi of Ramadan was 23 Rakat. -Musannaf Abdur Razzaq, Hadith: 7733
The source of the hadith is pure. In this 23 rakats are intended, 20 rakats tarabi and 3 rakats witr.
Tabee Abdul Aziz Ibn Rufai (R.A.) said, Ubayy Ibn Ka'b (R.A.) used to recite twenty rak'ats of Tarabi and three rak'ats of witr with the people in Madinah during Ramadan. -Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaiba: 2/285/7766
Tabee Yahya Ibn Saeed Ansari (R.A.) said, Umar (R.A.) ordered a person to pray twenty rak'ats with the people. -Musannafe Ibn Abi Shaiba: 2/285/7764
Tabee Yazid Ibn Ruman (R.A.) said that during the era of Hazrat Umar Ibnul Khattab (R.A.) people used to pray twenty-three Rakats in Ramadan. -Muatta Malik, Hadith: 380
famous Tabee Imam Abu Abdur Rahman Sulami (R.A.) said, Ali (R.A.) called the Hafez in Ramadan and ordered one of them to lead the people and pray twenty rak'ats. He said, Ali (RA) used to read witr about them. -Sunanul Baihaqi: 2/496-497/4291
Tabee Abul Hasna (R.A.) said, Ali (R.A.) ordered a person to recite twenty rak'ats of Tarabee with the people. -Musannafe Ibn Abi Shaiba: 2/285/7763
The most powerful evidence for those who are currently promoting eight rakat tarabee is a hadith of Bukhari Sharif, which is not actually about tarabee, but rather a hadeeth about tahajjud. It is narrated that, during Ramadan and outside of Ramadan, Hazrat Rasoolullah (SAW) used to pray four rakats and eight rakats. But we know that there is no Tarawi outside of Ramadan.

Taraweeh in current form (i.e soon after isha, in congregation) is traditionally mostly prayed in 20s. In it's origin form (i.e late at night, preferably in isolation, any time of the year), 8 obviously seems closer to truth. Having said that, it's nafl prayer, so one can pray even 2 rakaats or say even 40 rakaats (just a random number). It's not wise to fight over it. Peace 😅

Sometimes we deem our own perspective more correct than others may deem it. It not only happens in present times but in times after the passing of our Prophet (saws) among some of his companions. There's recorded hadiths wherein some close companions assumed wrongly. And our Prophet corrected them. Hadrat Umar (ra)on several recorded occasions made mistakes in judgment. His heart was pure and intact. Nevertheless his judgment was not flawless. When we have record of the prophet's judgment it should never be altered because an individual deem their perspective to be excellent. The reason shaitan is described as a snake is because he can seruptitiously move around rationale and logic and truth. In Arabic that's what dhaaleen suggest. It literally means to hit and miss the mark. That's why it's the last word in AL Fatiha. We pray to not hit and miss like religious people before us. Sadly our Prophet prophesied that his followers would veer away from his sunnah and compete with non believers. We must be careful to not have the seruptitious mentality. I hear a lot of wonderful history and facts in this presentation, but also hitting and missing because of deemed self perspective. In perfect musical composition every note must be executed right without one wrong note or pitch. So should it be with religious knowledge and mathematics.

After witr in Isha prayer there is the 2 nafil rakaats.
If i read tahajjud i must not pray the witr from isha and pray them after tahajjud so as to make it the final prayer. but then what happens to the 2 rakaats of my isha prayer?
    do i not pray them?
So if i am planning to read tahajjud should my isha prayer be 4-4-2-2. (instead of the normal 4-4-2-2-3-2)
Does this sound correct. 4-4-2-2 then go to sleep. then wake up and pray 2 or 4 rakaats tahajjud and read the 3 witr from isha prayer making it the last prayer before fajr? (but then what happens to the 2 nafil from isha?)

We fasted with the Prophet, so he did not pray (the night prayer) with us until seven (nights) of the month remained. Then he (pbuh) led us in prayer until a third of the night had gone, then he did not lead us in prayer on the sixth. Then he led us in prayer on the fifth until half of the night had gone. We said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah! Wouldn't you lead us in prayer for the remainder of the night?' He said: 'Indeed, whoever stands (praying) with the Imam until he finished, then it is recorded for him that he prayed the whole night.; Then he did not lead us in prayer until three (nights) of the month remained. Then he led us in prayer on the third and he called his family and his women to pray with us until we feared missing the Falah I (Jubair bin Nufair) said to him: What is the Falah He said: The Suhur.
Prophet PBUH stoppedتہجد jamaat in BUKHARI # 924 in Ramadhan and never prayed تہجد or Traweeh after Isha
      Sahih Bukhari#1129
      Status:
Narrated `Aisha the mother of the faithful believers: One night Allah's Apostle offered the prayer in the Mosque and the people followed him. The next night he also offered the prayer and too many people gathered. On the third and the fourth nights more people gathered, but Allah's Apostle did not come out to them. In the morning he said, I saw what you were doing and nothing but the fear that it (i.e. the prayer) might be enjoined on you, stopped me from coming to you. And that happened in the month of Ramadan.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, Whoever prayed at night the whole month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven. Ibn Shihab (a sub-narrator) said, Allah's Apostle died and the people continued observing that (i.e. Nawafil offered individually, not in congregation), and it remained as it was during the Caliphate of Abu Bakr and in the early days of 'Umar's Caliphate.
Yes Umer AS started the Jamaat of Qayamul Lail (Traweeh) in Ramadhan but he also Said that Qyamul Lail or تہجد praying late in the night is way better than praying it with Jamaat as Teaweeh after Isha. ***People who disagree with this do they claim to know more than Prophet PBUH or Umer?
      Sahih Bukhari#2010, mishkaat 1301
Abdur Rahman bin 'Abdul Qari said, I went out in the company of 'Umar bin Al-Khattab one night in Ramadan to the mosque and found the people praying in different groups. A man praying alone or a man praying with a little group behind him. So, 'Umar said, 'In my opinion I would better collect these (people) under the leadership of one Qari (Reciter) (i.e. let them pray in congregation!)'. So, he made up his mind to congregate them behind Ubai bin Ka'b. Then on another night I went again in his company and the people were praying behind their reciter. On that, 'Umar remarked, 'What an excellent Bid'a (i.e. innovation in religion) this is; but the prayer which they do not perform, but sleep at its time is better than the one they are offering.' He meant the prayer in the last part of the night. (In those days) people used to pray in the early part of the night.

Yasir Qadhi used to be a Salafi and he still has some of their deviated beliefs.
All 4 Schools of Fiqh/madhabs of ahl asSunnah walJama'ah AGREE ON 20 rak'ahs Tarawih.
Tahajjud can also be prayed AFTER Tarawih after waking up.
Deviated ppl will try to confuse Muslims by saying things like:
Malikis pray 36 rakahs. Truth is that Malikis pray 20 Tarawih + 16 rakahs nafl inbetween.
Don't believe other numbers they quote such as 11 or 13 or 39 or 41 or 43.
Just remember that for 1400 years, all 4 madhabs have ijma - unanimous agreement on this issue.

Qiyamul Layl and Tahajud are the same thing.
The Prophet(s.a.w) didn’t pray 8 rakat after isha before he slept he always prayed it after he woke up from sleep as mentioned in numerous ahadith.
The name for taraweeh is Qiyamu Ramadan. This is specific to Ramadan. He prayed 20 in jamat but stopped and then Umar(r.a) reinstated it in jamah during his period.
Umar and Sahabah didn’t invent something new but rather reinstated what the Prophet(s.a.w) did.

It was stated in Fayd ul-Bari Sharh Sahih al-Bukhari (by Shaykh Anwar Shah Kashmiri):
“Al-Imam Abu Yusuf (RA) asked Al-Imam Abu Hanifah (RA), ‘Did Hadrat Umar (Radhi Allahu Anhu) have any compact from the Holy Nabi (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim) for 20 rak’ahs of Taraweeh?’ The Imam replied, ‘Hadrat Umar was not one to invent on his own; certainly he had some proof with him for this!'” (also found in Maraqi ul-Falah, pg. 81, by Imam al-Shurunbulali and Bahr ur Ra’iq, vol.2, pg. 66, by Imam ibn Nujaim al-Misri).
Imam Qurtubi states: “20 Rakat Tarawih and 3 Rakat Witr is the most authentic narration.”
Imam Nawawi (RH) states: “Tarawih is a unanimously accepted Sunnah (practice) of the Muslims, it is 20 Rakat.
Allamah ibne Taymiyyah (RH) writes, “this action (i.e. 20 Rakat Tarawih) of Umar (RA) is Sunnah and we have been ordered by the messenger (sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) to hold fast to the Sunnah of the righteous Khulafa.
(Majmu’ Fatawa Li Ibne Taymiyyah, Vol.22 Pg.234 and 276)
Khatib Ash-Shirbini (rahmatullah ‘alayh) states in Mughni Al-Muhtaj,
“It is 20 raka’at with 10 taslimat (saying of salams), [performed] in every night of Ramadan due to what is reported by Imam Al-Bayhaqi with a Sahih (rigorously authentic) chain: ”They used to stand in [Salah] in the time of ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattab (radiya Allahu ‘anhu) in the month of Ramadan praying 20 raka’at.” [Reported by Al-Bayhaqi in his Sunan 2/496]
It is reported by Imam Malik in his Muwatta’ as “23 raka’at” and Imam Al-Bayhaqi reconciled the two narrations saying that 3 of the raka’at were for Salat Al-Witr. [Imam Malik’s Muwatta’ chapter on Salah in Ramadan 257] Also it is reported that the Prophet Muhammad “prayed 20 raka’at with them” [Al-Bayhaqi’s Sunan 2/496] as was said by Imam Ar-Rafi’i, though Al-Bayhaqi declared the report da’if (weak).” [Mughni Al-Muhtaj Vol 1 page 389, Dar Ihya At-Turath]
Ibn Naqib Al-Misri states in his ‘Umdat As-Salik, “It is mandub (recommended) to make tarawih, and it is 20 raka’at in every night of Ramadan, in congregation, making salams every two raka’at.” [page 158]
