Great review! Thank you! I was not gonna buy RIDE 5 but now curious, after you mentioned contact with AI won't cause a crash so easily & i do like contact 👍
Thanks for the review DrAce! I didn't find you mention the bike upgrading at all? Is it not in the game? Can we upgrade bikes with parts in Ride5 like we could in Ride4? Thanks!
My first bike was a '19 ZX14R. Got it last July. Truck pulled out in front of me at an intersection while I was going about 40mph. Broke my left femur and right Tibia and Fibia. Bike is long gone. I just play Ride now. Definitely picking up #5
Do slick tyres leave little black lines when accelerating out of corners? That’s one thing I noticed following other bikes on track days, but never seen it added to RIDE, it would be a subtle but immersive feature. The only time I’ve seen skid marks is when doing donuts, but a clean track which eventually has black lines out of corners through the race would be nice
I wonder why Milestone couldn't just port the circuits from their other games. Kinda odd that Philip Island is missing from the game too despite they're included in the previous game and the MotoGP games.
I could never get the physics down to be good at ride 4. I'm wondering if the breaking mechanics feel better? Sense of speed does look better here. In 4 I felt like I was over slowing to make apexes.
That’s pretty much what every game devs does for an IP that has numerous sequels. It’s the same engine as RIDE 4 so even if they remodelled everything from scratch it would still turn out the same. Things would only change if they changed to unreal engine 5
@@DrAce46 Thanks for the reply. I saw a lot of stuff they could have done a better job, yet you see a lot of textures from Ride 4. They didn't even bother to increase the resolution at the very least.
Good review. Loving your enthusiasm for Race Creator. One question whats the minimum amount of laps you can have in a championship and is it changeable per track?
Would you recommend Ride 4 or Ride 5? Keep in mind that I have never touched this series before; I just thought it was neat looking and am considering buying it lol.
Thanks for the review Ace, but I have a question ... is there a controller calibration option for linearity etc like in moto gp 23 ? I couldn't find it. I'm on PS5.. Thanks in advance :)
Great review! One question: Have they expanded on the controller settings like all the games that came after Ride4? I know Ride4 didn't have the ability to tune trigger and stick sensitivities/curves/deadzones and it is one of the biggest QoL features that is a necessity in these games imo.
Thanks, since the review the multiplayer has gone backwards. the servers are a bit unreliable but you can still have some good races, it's fun but expect some disconnects
I platinumed almost every game and in RIDE 4 I found it quite annoying that the races from the beginning to the middle of the game were 5 laps. Race length reduced to 3 laps in the RIDE 5? Is there any option to reduce?
Cant wait to play myself. I hoped for Most beeing added and maybe some european suit brands like Damen or PSI. But other then that it Sees a worthy entry to the franchise
The bikes all around me like a pack of wolfs dropping me and riding on not another bike down, does p me off and stops me playing so glad thats fixed, there are a lot of disabled players out there (I am one of them) and we can't do seperate brakes we do not have the finesse so joint brakes for us really helps and lets us have a game (there is a MotoGP were the joint brakes were removed, I couldn't play it waste of money), think of it like bowling we like to throw the ball if we hit a pin great, Game looks good mate looking forward to more vids on it, Well Done !!
I see your point regarding the joint brakes but to be honest I think it’s better to not use the rear brake at all instead of the joint brakes option. The game always applies too much rear brake under trail braking which forces the bike to miss the apex. I would definitely try it without and not using the rear brake as well 👍🏻
Does cross play work between ps5 and Xbox? I’m close to pulling the trigger but want to know this works first, want to put some laps in with mates on Xbox
I was not going to get this one but after getting Ride 4, I was playing with the Zx14r and decided i missed my old 2006, and bought a 2021. Now after seeing the bike list Ride 5 has the exact color scheme as the bike i have. So i guess I am going to pick it up now lol.
I came into MotoGP/Ride series late, and never understood some things. Can someone or DrAce, tell me what's the difference between manual and auto tuck in and joint or split brakes? besides preference?
So the joint brakes option enables the rear brake as well when under braking. The rear brake is a separate button press but the game will automatically use the rear brake for you when you brake with the front brake. I don’t recommend turning this on. Secondly the auto tuck is for when on the straight. The rider will automatically tuck into the bikes bubble to reduce the wind efftect. Manual tuck basically allowed you to control when and how long the rider tucked in for. That’s no longer a thing on MotoGP and RIDE 5. Hope that helps
when riding alone i dont notice tire scrubbing. but its so noticeable with other AI. they need to put in tires scrubbing when riders accelerate. otherwise it looks strange floating bikes
Ok, this game is definitely going to be a permanent install on the ps5 (at least until ride 6 comes out). I’ve been loving the gameplay and I even enjoy how seriously the writing and voice over takes itself, which is pretty funny/cringe, but somehow works for me. Unfortunately, I ran into a pretty frustrating glitch in career mode at the first endurance race at Sugo. For some reason, the AI who pit at the end of the race (and it’s specifically those AI) jump places from the back of the pack to the front when they exit the pit, which sucks when I’m at the end of a 20 min race with a clear lead, only to end up in 6th or 7th, half a lap behind, with only two and a half minutes left to gain 30+ sec on AI who watched one too many Mario Kart speedruns and discovered a way skip an entire lap (I’m sure the Dr. could still beat them, but I’m nowhere near that good yet, even with the difficulty at the lowest setting 😂). Other than that, this game has been a blast!
@@DrAce46 I hope you don’t either! I discovered that while the game would put those riders in first, it would correct itself after I would cross the line. It even put me in first after a I did one of my pit stops, but not all of them. Then, the race WOULD NOT end because “leader” was always starting their lap from the pit lane and couldn’t complete a lap before I crossed the line and the standings were corrected. Ended up having to lap the entire field and finish before the offending AI could pit again, which they did EVERY LAP after the time reached 0:00. Took me a while to realize what was happening so my final time was 1:09:45.402, or 40 laps. Pretty impressive for a “20 min” race if I do say so myself. 😂
Just upgraded from Ride 4 only to find out my favorite two bikes are gone 😢 the cbr300 and the R3....i loved those little bikes. The new physics though, much better...
So u can change the riding style of the rider, can you change the size of him as well? overall it seems like it still have not really caught up to TouristTrophy for ps2 :)
Great review. Are there 4 riding styles now? I bought R4 im the sales with all the DLC. I must say its an amazing game! A nice change of pace from the Moto GP series.
@@DrAce46 3? That's good then. I've been playing GP since the beginning of time. R4 is definitely an eye opener when it comes down to handling! I jumped back on MOTO GP last night and it seemed a breeze compared to R4! Thanks for the reply, looking forward to more are your videos 👌
Sooo instead of giving us a proper DIVERSE bike roster (like in Ride 3), they gave us basically Ride 4's roster... Lame. I'll maybe get the full version on a massive discount
I was given early access for Steam. But I’m not sure why Steam special edition didn’t allow players to play 3 days early like the console counterparts 🤷🏻♂️
I loved ride 4…my big worry regarding ride 5 though is the new content, is there a decent amount of new tracks and bikes? I beleive ride 4 has the best track list of any game but, new tracks would be nice. Is it worth the £70 price tag when ride 4 is so good?
@@DrAce46 well my decision was short lived! Bought it as soon as i got back from working away and what a game! How do you find the braking? I have it set up with no assist like ride 4 and im finding that braking is a lot harder here, the bikes seems to slide a lot more when f/r brakes are applied and im going down the gears. They seem a lot mote unstable when braking with just the front too. Not complaining i do love it! Just wondered if you could give a few quick pointers?
@@AdamCopley-d6d😂😂😂 dude rear brake is almost not used even in real motogp most is done with frontbrake rear brake is only to slow down faster when needed front brake is the best way
Good review but I think I'm going to hold off buying this on release day. It's a small issue I have with ride 5 but I hate 'pop in', it's always put me off games so hopefully it'll get patched but I will wait until then.
How is it that your bike control is so impeccable? On a real motorcycle you look way far ahead of a corner and That's how you know where your corner entry is going to be. But that doesn't seem possible with a video game. Are you supposed to just memorize track layouts or is there some other way of reading corners? Also I'm having a really hard time maintaining a consistent line on both straights and corners without overcorrecting. What's your secret?
A lot of it is memorising the tracks and looking as far ahead as I can. Honestly it’s all in the brakes and leaning in early towards the apex, gentle touch and precision pretty much
It’s hard to tell the aggressiveness when you’re ahead of the pack. Next time you film something like that it would help to be in the action where racers actually would need to fight for position in the middle of the pack
I am new to bike sims and even though i start to get the hang of it, it still is difficult but sadly i miss some tracks + braking feels awful. Even with the brake upgrades the bikes struggle to brake properly, even Motogp bikes struggle to brake what doesn’t make much sense. But overal pretty happy with the game so far but having tracks like Redbull ring, spa, tt assen, catelonga spain, full layout of Le mans and many more would have been nice to have but i guess thats not going to happen.
Hi, I don't know if you will be able to answer this but one of the most irritating things in ride 4 for me is when in first person view with some bikes the hands of the character are off the clip ons and in my opinion is just very off putting whilst playing the game. I know this is a small detail but I thought that these sort of errors would be a thing of the past, its 2020's people not 1990s! Have you noticed that issue with ride 5? I'd like to get the game but I'm also thinking of Motogp 23 too and trying to decide which one to get.
Congrats on the Early Access Key :) I am unsure of this one. It is already the 5th Ride game and while it seems to get better, it is only that much, that is just feels like an full Price Update of the previous Games. Game looks fine. I am more interested in how it feels. But also: The Maps do a lot look like they have been modded in from other, older Games. Just the Vibe. Looks like a Racing game from 10 Years ago with better Lighting and Textures. 10 Years ago i would def. be more interested in Costomisation of the Rider. But not anymore. But i guess thats good, because a lot of poeple want that. Also it does not hurt to have that. I i would use it in the end i guess. I am happy that there are still some Open Road Tracks, because that what i am interested in. I am not interested in GP or Races like that. I am more interested in the Bikes and the riding, rather than racing them against others. And i like Sounds. I played Ride 1 when it came out, but i wasn't a huge fan. I mean. There was not that much in regards to realism feeling. Then i tried Ride 3. Better. But still not what i was looking for. TT3 gave me something special. I was hoping for Ride 5 now. But tbh. In the core it just looks like a Ride 4 to me. I will have to look for myself in the end, but i do not know. I do not know what i wanted to expect from the Game. The Trailers somekind made me think they want to sell it as some kind of a "reboot" of the Series. Maybe just because it is popular now. I guess on the long run, Ride as a Series will die out like F Horizon did. Does. Not in Data for sold games, but in longterm demand. They made themselves some drug addicts that only play when there is new stuff to buy or just new stuff. All i always read is just "content content content". Hell. Drive. But it became Call of Duty and Fifa :( Sorry for the rant. I am not interested in Forza Horizon with Bikes. I want (modded) Assetto Corsa, but with Bikes. (Jes jes, we HAVE Bikes in AC. But you know. Something that is not a janky Mod (in this case. But it is still great with Soundmod, too.) So now i used your Video as a rant. I am sorry for that. Cheers!
I feel just the same. I don't care about how the graphics are great. But the sounds being off, the physics being off or whatnot. The bike selection looks dreadful. WTF is Milestone doing?
Haha that’s not a problem, milestone’s marketing is always the same like that. They promote their videos to the players as they’ve never heard of it. I do it for my videos as well to be honest. Lol But this was never intended to be a reboot, this is just the 5th instalment and I can say it’s very good. The bikes feel the best out of all the ride games in my opinion. RIDE 4 was the most popular bike game over the past few years and I think RIDE 5 will be the same 👍🏻 they’ve cornered the market here for bikes these games aren’t going away trust me
@@DrAce46 I guess, i'll give it a Spin whe non Sale. I held back on Ride 4, after i played 3. So i guess it is time again now for 5. It is not that i am super hard on it now, as im not forced to buy it :D But if its a good Bike experience. I'm in. But i still need to have a bit of a look at it first via Videos. I really need to hear more, since this is really important to me. See you in the next one.
Hi, great job man. Have to ask you something: did you noticed that in Ride 4 if you to from zero to full throttle bike tips backwards (like in reality) while in Ride 5 bike starts running gradually and stays on the ground (more arcade than real, like Moto GP 22/23) ?? I tried disabling throttling aids but it nothing changed about that, can't believe they did it .... also in ride 5 I can do wheelies for kilometres just putting back the lever, bike magically stops in the right position...in ride 4 wheelies required an hard balance between throttle and lever
Thanks for the review! As far as I can tell, they seem to create this game too easy on the physics. (No, rubber-banding, cheating AI does not equal "hard" it equals "annoying". ) what would I prefer? If you switch every help&electronics off, and you give too much power too soon in a corner, you should crash. If you go to the grass while leaning just a tiny bit and travelling 100+ MPH, you should crash. If you put full throttle on a known "wheelie machine" bike like an MT09 on its first 3 gears or so, it should wheelie the hell out. And I could continue forever. Bike games are too forgiving. And they make most under-130BHP bikes plain dead and boring. Take an MT07 for example. IRL it's one of the most liked fun-bikes on the market, most testers admire how easy it is to wheelie it, how fast it feels despite its less-powerful engine, etc.. In Ride4 it was a dull, slow, boring bike. And anything on 2 wheels with at least about 90BHP should be far, far, FAR from being boring. That's the feeling no bike games I tried were able to capture. I repeat: when you play with all helps and electronics off. I wanna FEEL they are monsters (as they are). 130+ BHP is no joke, never was. If you're not gentle enough with the throttle on a 1000 in a corner, you die. If you slam the front brake too hard too fast, you die. If you don't trail brake correctly into a corner, as you add more lean angle, the front wheel should lose traction. Or if you pull in the brake hard mid-corner. In ride4, most 130BHP bikes are almost impossible to crash with most of the above mentioned things, and you need to really provoke them to wheelie. Even the known wheelie kings, which are known that they are hard to keep their front wheels DOWN... I guess none of the above work like they should in this game, they just polished some of ride4's phisics and that's it - but Ace, please, please prove me wrong! ;) Is riding a 1000cc bike from around 2000 hard in this game? (Every help switched off, as they did not have any fancy stuff back then... Not even ABS) It should be, but I feel it is not, and that's a shame.
If you se the A.I behaviour to pressing or aggressive they do have a bit more rubber banding. But to be honest I think the difficulty level is a good balance for us experience players and newcomers. Because considering how much fun I can have with the guys in my community who still feel the game is easy but fun and comparing it to the many angry comments I get per day about the game being broken because it’s too hard. I think it means Milestone have found a balance. I would also like for the game to be much harder and unforgiving but it would put so many newcomers off that I don’t think it would be wise for Milestone to go down that route. But I do understand what you’re saying
@@DrAce46 Yeah, I understand they needed to find a balance. I just... wish to have a "hardcore simulation mode" for the "sim guys". And most people would switch it off and use the current one to have their fun. You and I would love it though... ;) "Nowadays" ( = in the last few years I think) when I play any motorcycle game - and I still prefer ride 4 as it has street bikes, and I prefer street bikes - I spend most of my time in time trial mode, everything switched off, helmet cam, trying to "get the feeling" of riding a real bike. Sometimes I think I almost have it. Then I go out on my 30+ year-old, heavy, 90-somethin' BHP Honda VFR 750, and when I first roll the throttle, I realise that no, they are still very, very FAR from it. Car simulations are closer to the "real thing", but bike sims are lacking this thing. And yes, it's significantly harder to ride a bike than drive a car IRL, too. (At least until the highest levels like rallying, F1, pro racing, etc. But an average "sporty" street car? Everybody can drive them relatively safely. This is not so much true regarding bikes. Not at all.) I just say, I wish they could re-create this feeling, this "hardship" of riding an even not-so-powerful bike.Like I said, an MT07 should be far from feeling to be slow and boring. And any 2000-ish Superbike should be pretty d.mn scary! Not to mention today's monsters. A ZH2 should be almost un-rideable with electronics switched off. As it IS almost unrideable that way IRL... Then of course you could and should use the electronics on the modern bikes. Or even on the old ones, as this is just a game. I just wish I had the OPTION to get closer to the real thing.
Yeah the graphics are nice, looks really clean. To be honest I much prefer Milestones physics compared to Raceward. Not knocking TT 3 though. It was great
I honestly never used them, I didn’t even realised they had gone until I really started looking into it for the review. I would use them if there was tracks suited for them
Why do I never see anyone ever mention the disparity between the bikes in game and their real world counterparts? In some cases the differences are so big it's upsetting. Example, the 2008 zx10r in game sounds nothing like the real thing. The cbr1000rr-r in game after you mod it to the max loses 1 kg, just one... the carbon wheels in game are the same weight as the magnesium ones... who tested this game and gave it a pass???
Game si nice, but no advanced curves for analogue axis and no yamaha r3 any more? :( Edit: got myself a better controller, Gamesir t4k Kaleid and it's a life changer!!
I did not notice much changes from Ride 4 I would buy new Ride game if it's like Forza Horizen which is open world highways speed traps and overtaking cars. that kind of Bike games I would like. and I hope the physics are not like The Crew 2
realistic under breaking and cornering too, but otherwise the bikes are glued to the track, they don't spin even without traction control, and I'm worried Milestone will make the driving even easier because gamers are going to cry and complain that it's too hard, and that the bike understeers..... like they've always done
Looks like they made a few decent changes from Ride 4 but I was really hoping for at least a slight graphical upgrade after all of Milestone’s “Next Gen optimization” hype. If you watch some of the Ride4/5 side by side comparisons, it looks like Ride 4 was graphically superior in nearly every way. As usual, all Milestone did was play around with the color/lighting filters so people would think they actually made some graphical upgrades. There’s simply no way to justify such lackluster track surface and trackside detail in 2023. The race editor options do sound fun though so I may still pick up 5 if I catch a sale. My days of paying triple AAA prices for Milestone’s predominantly cut and paste sequels are definitely over though.
Unfortunately the game will look similar to RIDE 4 until they change the engine to Unreal 5. Which may not be for a while. The new dynamic weather and features are probably the main reason for the next gen optimisation
It’s a shame Milestone’s goal never seems to be to hit it out of the park. For every sequel of every game they make, Milestone does the bare minimum they think they can get away with. For everything they add, they inevitably take something else out to save time and/or offer it later on as paid DLC. It’s unbelievable they couldn’t be bothered to upgrade to the Unreal 5 engine. So disappointing. I’d like to think that now that Milestone has run the MXGP and Supercross games into the ground and lost those licenses, maybe they’ll spend a bit of extra time improving the licenses they have left. I’m not holding my breath though. I’ve been burned by this company too many times and I don’t believe they will ever change their ways. Even though we don’t see eye to eye on Ride 5, I really enjoy your channel. Your passion for bikes is unmistakable. It takes one to know one I suppose. With any luck, maybe some new company that actually shares this passion will step up and finally make the quintessential bike game we all deserve.
Initial impression was kinda bad, but it's starting to grow on me. The bike selection is still weak. Sumos at the very least should be included and maybe something different like baggers. Bagger racing is a thing nowadays.
I played Ride 4 for 200hours and love it…now I’m playing Ride 5 and, hmm…I don’t feel bikes as good as it was in Ride4. Pleyed on extreme difficutlty, now I can’t win on 80%. Collision system is some misunderstanding. I know that little cnotact is possible but, those bikes hit each other all the time with extreme speed. Unfortunately is like in arcade game. I hope they fix it.
@DrAce46 You just know there are 2 camps... One side can't even complete a lap without crashing when all rider aids are enabled, and the other group is convinced that RiMs racing is the most realistic game ever made... And of course Milestond will listen and nerf the physics accordingly. Are the physics this time just as loose as Ride 4 was at launch? Meaning it has little wobbles, slides and a feeling of fighting for grip on the limit?
My favourite addition to this game is a minute but super cool one in my opinion. Watching a race replay, under heavy braking.. Your front tyre deforms under the forces acted upon it. Super cool

Would you recommend Ride 4 or Ride 5? Keep in mind that I have never touched this series before; I just thought it was neat looking and am considering buying it lol.
Both are good choices
Ride 4 is more fun ride 5 is easier in my opinion
Nice review....as an avid rider, this game looks phenomenal
Thanks! Yeah it’s pretty epic 👍🏻🔥
Thanks for the review Ace, but I have a question ... is there a controller calibration option for linearity etc like in moto gp 23 ? I couldn't find it. I'm on PS5..
Thanks in advance :)
Cheers mate, sadly there isn’t any options for the controller like that
Great review! One question: Have they expanded on the controller settings like all the games that came after Ride4? I know Ride4 didn't have the ability to tune trigger and stick sensitivities/curves/deadzones and it is one of the biggest QoL features that is a necessity in these games imo.
Thanks mate, as of yet there isn’t anything like that in the game. Not sure if it’s planned to be either 🤷🏻♂️
@@DrAce46 Ah okay. I guess one could use the steam input configuration but it isn't as intuitive as having an in game setting
Agreed mate
For these games the xbox elite controller works wonders. Being able to have multiple profile tunes saved to controller. Works on pc great.
Thanks for the review mate 👍
My pleasure! I hope you enjoyed 😁
Thanks a lot, it's look great, is it possible to see the Nordschlief please !
Yes, of course 🔥
A great review, mate 👍
I have tried R5. I am nowhere as good as you, but I try. Is the cross platform for all 3 platforms?
Thanks mate!! 🔥🔥
It’s only cross platform for Xbox and PlayStation sadly
@@DrAce46 That is a shame 😢
Nice review. How is the multiplayer in this game?
Thanks, since the review the multiplayer has gone backwards. the servers are a bit unreliable but you can still have some good races, it's fun but expect some disconnects
I platinumed almost every game and in RIDE 4 I found it quite annoying that the races from the beginning to the middle of the game were 5 laps. Race length reduced to 3 laps in the RIDE 5? Is there any option to reduce?
Nah mate 3 laps is minimum
Hi DrAce great review!! one question, is there any qualifying session before race in multiplayer?
Cheers mate! Yeah there’s an option for that. Shown here : 13:03
Cant wait to play myself. I hoped for Most beeing added and maybe some european suit brands like Damen or PSI. But other then that it Sees a worthy entry to the franchise
Yeah Most would have been lovely! I’m hankering for some RST leathers in the game 😂
The bikes all around me like a pack of wolfs dropping me and riding on not another bike down, does p me off and stops me playing so glad thats fixed, there are a lot of disabled players out there (I am one of them) and we can't do seperate brakes we do not have the finesse so joint brakes for us really helps and lets us have a game (there is a MotoGP were the joint brakes were removed, I couldn't play it waste of money), think of it like bowling we like to throw the ball if we hit a pin great, Game looks good mate looking forward to more vids on it,
Well Done !!
I see your point regarding the joint brakes but to be honest I think it’s better to not use the rear brake at all instead of the joint brakes option. The game always applies too much rear brake under trail braking which forces the bike to miss the apex. I would definitely try it without and not using the rear brake as well 👍🏻
@@DrAce46 I will Thank You !!
Does cross play work between ps5 and Xbox? I’m close to pulling the trigger but want to know this works first, want to put some laps in with mates on Xbox
I do believe so, you can see the lap times from both consoles on the time trail 👍🏻
Is there a way to transfer stickers from Ride 3? I made a pretty legit monster energy logo and would like to use it in Ride 5.
No mate
I was not going to get this one but after getting Ride 4, I was playing with the Zx14r and decided i missed my old 2006, and bought a 2021. Now after seeing the bike list Ride 5 has the exact color scheme as the bike i have. So i guess I am going to pick it up now lol.
Good enough reason as any lol
Thanks for the review, game looks very very nice.
Thanks buddy! 🙏🏻
Dear Dr Ace,
Is pre order cheaper than "normal version"?
In other words: Will the game cost a bit less if I wait to 24th of August?
No mate, same price
@@DrAce46Thank You! 😘
😂😂😂 If you dont no how the brakes work you are going to suck at the game
when riding alone i dont notice tire scrubbing. but its so noticeable with other AI. they need to put in tires scrubbing when riders accelerate. otherwise it looks strange floating bikes
I can't say I notice it much but you're right
I'm thinking about buying the game but I'm afraid the force feedback on the controller will be bad, is it worth buying now ?
The game is great but the feedback and vibration is pretty poor nowadays compared to MotoGP 24
@@DrAce46
I think I'm going to play Ride 3 and if I like it I'll buy Ride 5 on sale
the upshifts on the r1 can be improved, ride 4 did a good job in the upshifts
The audio de-syncs a bit on those clips for some strange reason. It doesn’t do that in the game
Wish they added more new tracks and the option to change ai names so we can actually setup a bsb championship
Yeah that would be the icing on the cake!
@DrAce46 oh and allow tyre wear in race creater mode. For some reason it's locked in race creater mode. Weird
Oh really? even if the race distance is higher?@@ajmotovideos6779
@DrAce46 I put it on 11 laps. But yea if I put it on the max lap amount still locked
I had no issue with the endurance race and I’ll already recorded that before the review. I hope I won’t ruin into a similar bug in the future 🤞🏻
Love the content!
Thanks mate 🙏🏻
Just upgraded from Ride 4 only to find out my favorite two bikes are gone 😢 the cbr300 and the R3....i loved those little bikes. The new physics though, much better...

As a Ride 4 player I must say, its not bad at all. The sound can be bit more robust. I will give this game an honest chance.
Ride 4 had better sound in my opinion and it was more fun ride 5 is good as well but its much easier ride 4 is the one thats more fun for me
Great review. Are there 4 riding styles now? I bought R4 im the sales with all the DLC. I must say its an amazing game! A nice change of pace from the Moto GP series.

I loved ride 4…my big worry regarding ride 5 though is the new content, is there a decent amount of new tracks and bikes?
I beleive ride 4 has the best track list of any game but, new tracks would be nice.

I expected the A.I already to put up a good fight since it was the first lap but it was hard to tell
Why did they remove Philip island and Macau?
Probably so they can sell them to you later.

Try reducing or turning off ABS. I find the bikes don’t stop with ABS on high
@@DrAce46Yeah i did but the braking in this game is really unrealistic.

@@MrSitallewal1983 MototGp feels actually worse than Ride 5 in my opinion.
Wtf Phillip island is a favorite 😢
It is, odd how it didn't come to RIDE 5
Did ride5 In the future have macau track"?
Not that I’m aware of
Congrats on the Early Access Key :)
I am unsure of this one.
But it is still great with Soundmod, too.)
So now i used your Video as a rant.
Lol
But this was never intended to be a reboot, this is just the 5th instalment and I can say it’s very good.
Thanks mate, have you turned down the AW? The bigger bikes still wheelie when being too aggressive with the throttle 🔥

Great review, 👍 and looking forward to the game release. 🙂
Thanks! 👍
As mentioned on another clip lot of offroad enduro riding without consequences.
Turn off every assist your bike will behave in that way
Graphics look brilliant and the bikes but i seriously doubt the feeling is better than TT3
Yeah the graphics are nice, looks really clean. To be honest I much prefer Milestones physics compared to Raceward. Not knocking TT 3 though. It was great
Way better then Isle of man but thats easy
So how is the difficulty...is it still as hard and unforgiving as Ride4 or is it more accessible this time around...

I don’t think they will, there’s a good balance of difficulty in this game at the moment 👍🏻
@@DrAce46they already did 😂😂😂 ride 4 is harder then ride 5 ride 5 is easy compared to ride 4
Thanks mate, I’m glad you like the channel 🔥 we have all our own experiences with games and the devs so I can understand completely 👍🏻
do they still have the 2005 Honda CBR600RR? 😊
Initial impression was kinda bad, but it's starting to grow on me. The bike selection is still weak. Sumos at the very least should be included and maybe something different like baggers. Bagger racing is a thing nowadays.
Are there no dirt bikes anymore?
I played Ride 4 for 200hours and love it…now I’m playing Ride 5 and, hmm…I don’t feel bikes as good as it was in Ride4. Pleyed on extreme difficutlty, now I can’t win on 80%.
Collision system is some misunderstanding. I know that little cnotact is possible but, those bikes hit each other all the time with extreme speed. Unfortunately is like in arcade game.
I hope they fix it.
But you're comparing 200 hours to a game you have barely played. Give it time to learn the game and you'll be winning at 120% again
Now let's hope they don't screw up the physics with the first patch like they did with Ride 4...
They probably will, there’s a lot of comments from people moaning about the physics already
@DrAce46
You just know there are 2 camps...
@JamoZNL Haha that’s it lol
Hmm not as loose as original RIDE 4. The bikes have much more weight a lot like MotoGP 23
how the fuck cant the old zx10r one from 2006 have a 871score, that ist better than the new M1000RR (846) or the Pani Superlegera (866)
