Great video. Your voice is so soothing. I was dozing off watching🥰. I will be attempting this style for my sis’s 60th Birthday souvenirs. Your work is BEAUTIFUL
I just made this bag and to anyone who is about to make this, I’d recommend NOT trimming the excess zipper tape until after you put on your pulls. The excess tape will help you get them on. If you can start with a lil excess tape on one side, slide it on, then slide the pull up to where the next side of tape is then you can slip that side in too. I was ready to scream trying to get the zipper on. I asked my husband to help and he did it, but it was not easy!
Fantastic project. I use teflon coated fiberglass mats for applique and pressing with fusibles and quilt blocks when I need a perfect glide over biased edges.
Hello! I'm glad you're liking the tutorial:) If you use #5 zippers, you will just need to adjust the corners based on your zipper tape since it's wider than the #3 tape by about ¼”. Other than that, you should be good to go!
Hello! The straight edge of the template will measure 8" and it will be about 4¼" length as its not a perfect circle. Did you by chance change the scaling in the printing window to 100% scale? This will make sure the template is the correct size. Let me know if it works:)
Aside from the zipper difficulty, this is a beautiful bag and thank you for the tutorial! 💜 maybe my next round will be easier! lol

Where did you get those cute fabrics? They're adorable!
Thank you! I got most of the fabrics from Sewers Club, but the Christmas and Halloween ones are from Hawthorne Supply co.
