Exquisite 'home brew', Timo........ a genuinely beautiful little creation. Without turning it over, you'd never know that it didn't come out of the box like that. Most enjoyable and a great start to my Saturday! 👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻
Great idea with the spreader; great influence for others, Timo! Object lesson in thinking and adapting! Love the crate and bottles! What a terrific Code3 result!
Great transformation, Timo. I use a pair of 3", hand seaming pliers for straightening bent parts. They are made for the sheet metal trade. One good squeeze usually does it.
Watching it come together I was going to write that it would have looked better with dual wheels on the back axle but then seeing it complete, nah, it's perfect just as it is.
Thanks Ellesmere. Dual wheels would be OK, but it is actually supposed to be a pickup truck. I think it looks bigger than it's supposed to because of the pre-war body style. I looked into this vehicle because it intrigues me (and I have at least one more of these) and they actually sold them as a cab and chassis so you could build your own bed or it could be modified by a specialty company as, for example a tow truck. Dinky was clever enough to make several versions including a tow truck and a tipper. Cheers
@@timosdinkydetailing Armadale is just that, lots of little parks at the entrance to our Town, a lot of Scots settled here in the 1800s hence the name, some 38 years ago we lived some 60kms away and would come here every month or so ,we loved its country Town feel, so we Bought a Cottage and we have been here ever since, thanks for taking a interest!
Superb restoration and excellent selection of detailed parts to bring this all together
Thanks Martin. This is one of those toys that is so satisfying to build. Cheers

Thanks Flashback. I have another model that's going to need something bigger! Another tool? Maybe not.

A beautiful hybrid toy. Do you have a storage box for all the special tools that you have made?
They are in all different places, but I usually know where to find them. Thanks David. Cheers.
