I am not a counselor, but I have worked in that field for about 27 years. I've been surrounded by therapists for a long time. And let me tell you, they sometimes need counseling themselves. Which is fine. They aren't all good at it. They aren't all really meant for that calling. I think the greatest challenge for human beings as a whole is to learn how to turn off that noise in our heads. I know a really nice person who is a manic depressive. He is a hippy free spirit. His problem is that he can't forget anything. He remembers everything. Sorry this is off track. Just saying people need to ground themselves literally with the Earth. If our physical bodies connect with the Earth it frees our spirit to connect with the Divine.
