When Vitas heard Dimash sing this song, they put a legal block against Dimash. Later they removed it, but unfortunately Dimash will never sing this song again. I wouldn't blame Dimash for it, what an idiot and stupid move Vitas did.
Dimash is an exception he can like cover 5 or six octaves. He is really good in his craft, he's like using a lot of vocal techniques just doing one song. He switch from opera to pop and vice versa. He's a true vocal master.
может у димаша диапазон богаче, не спорю, но Витас автор оперы 2, это его песня, наверно, некорректно, по отношению к обоим артистам сравнение бесконечное. Витас в 90 годы тоже фурор сделал на фон всего что на эстраде творилось. DIMASH.. He was trained since 5! :) At 5 , he went to musical school to learn how to play piano, then musical college - classical/opera vocal, then University - pop-jazz vocals and now he is still studying at the University as a composer! He is 25, but he was 23 when sang this song! Yes he can sing in 12 languages and can play 8 musical instruments. His mother sings OPERA..father SINGER/SONG WRITER... And 20 of his 25 Yrs...he worked VERY hard and now enjoys making people happy, cozy and feeling good..I'm a dear for life :)

That was great of you guys appreciating Dimash talent. Vitas was well known in China that's why Chinese audience know that song when Dimash started to sang maybe there's an anticipation on the audience on how he can deliver the song. Hi guys, your faces are delightful. 😂🤣😂 Btw, his name is pronounced like this Di-mah-sh. It is not mash like mash potatoes 😂 it's "mah." Opera 2 is kind of a dark song but he performed it in a more fun and lighthearted way.
Dimash's range is 6+ octaves. What it concerns is of course natural talent, but definitely not only that. Dimash has been training since the age of five. So he has twenty years of training and hard work behind himself. Even today, he continues his training, three hours every day. He was 22 years of age at the time of "Opera 2", which he cannot perform ever again because Vitas is threatening him with legal action should he ever do so again. -- It is impossible to recommend anything for you to hear and comment on because Dimash's performances are so numerous. -- Anyway thank you so much for your very appreciative comments.

Honestly I prefer this version of Opera 2 because Dimash can get the listener interested in this change from classic to pop, as he says this genre is Neoclassic. This mixture was great, beautiful. Good morning guys. Love your reactions to our boy. I am a USA Dear from Texas but will not get to go to concert. We Dears are following you and love what you are doing. Please continue. Do SOS next and then The Show Must Go On by Queen which would be the next episode from the Singer, then Late Autumn and Adagio. In that order. Each episode just gets better and better. He is now 25 and is so much better, but don't skip ahead too far. Take a slow progression and you will see how much better he has gotten with age. See you on the next one.
He picked this song in the competition because people were comparing with Vitas a lot so he decided to show everyone that he is not Vitas, he is Dimash (first of all, Dimash has much deeper lower registers and he took this song two octaves higher from original Vitas performance)!
When Dimash finishes the song you see a middle aged guy standing by himself smiling and punching the air, that is his proud Papa who sings and produces.
Very nice observations...your video is one of the few that give detailed impressions afterwards. If you guys like Dimash lower register, check out his "Love of tired Swans" (Russian) and especially his "Ogni Pietra" in Sochi Olympico, powerful low register, more recent.
Also "Love Is Like a Dream" (Lyubov pohozhaya na son) (Moscow, April 2019) opens with very low notes, and goes on so quite some time, so does "Sinful Passion" (Sochi, August 2018)

This was the first song I heard Dimash sing 2 1/2 years ago. I haven't looked back since. Dimash out sang Vitas so much that Vitas's team forbid Dimash from singing this again. That was great of you guys appreciating Dimash talent. Vitas was well known in China that's why Chinese audience know that song when Dimash started to sang maybe there's an anticipation on the audience on how he can deliver the song. Dimash's range is 6+ octaves. What it concerns is of course natural talent, but definitely not only that. Dimash has been training since the age of five. So he has twenty years of training and hard work behind himself. Even today, he continues his training, three hours every day. He was 22 years of age at the time of "Opera 2", which he cannot perform ever again because Vitas is threatening him with legal action should he ever do so again. -- It is impossible to recommend anything for you to hear and comment on because Dimash's performances are so numerous. -- Anyway thank you so much for your very appreciative comments.

Honestly I prefer this version of Opera 2 because Dimash can get the listener interested in this change from classic to pop, as he says this genre is Neoclassic. This mixture was great, beautiful. Thank you guys for doing a Dimash reaction. Classically trained in the bel canto technique since he was 5 yrs ld. 6 octave range and is a multi-instumentalist. You should react to "Hello" (when he was a guest of The Singer 2018) and his new songs written for him by Igor Krutoy "Passione" and "Ogni Pietra".If you like his voice then listen to him now. He'll have his first US concert at the Barclays Centre on Dec. 10, 2019. Enjoy his talent guys.
This style of music is called pop opera. Yes, Dimash overdid Vitas and now unfortunately Vitas forbids him to perform this song.

Good morning guys. Love your reactions to our boy. I am a USA Dear from Texas but will not get to go to concert. We Dears are following you and love what you are doing. Please continue. Do SOS next and then The Show Must Go On by Queen which would be the next episode from the Singer, then Late Autumn and Adagio. In that order. Each episode just gets better and better. He is now 25 and is so much better, but don't skip ahead too far. Take a slow progression and you will see how much better he has gotten with age. See you on the next one.

He picked this song in the competition because people were comparing with Vitas a lot so he decided to show everyone that he is not Vitas, he is Dimash (first of all, Dimash has much deeper lower registers and he took this song two octaves higher from original Vitas performance)!

Very nice observations...your video is one of the few that give detailed impressions afterwards. If you guys like Dimash lower register, check out his "Love of tired Swans" (Russian) and especially his "Ogni Pietra" in Sochi Olympico, powerful low register, more recent.
Also "Love Is Like a Dream" (Lyubov pohozhaya na son) (Moscow, April 2019) opens with very low notes, and goes on so quite some time, so does "Sinful Passion" (Sochi, August 2018)
