    Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

      What a confused, silly statement. Hearts pump blood. Beliefs require convincing and some sort of evidence, good or bad. Our brains do this job, not our hearts.
      This statement is about feelings, not evidence. Feelings are not a reliable or justifiable method for understanding truth.
      Why doesn't your god want to provide evidence for its existence?
      I could say this isn't the place for religious discussions, but you can push your beliefs anywhere you want. I can respond back whenever I want.

    I will always support a player getting the max money they can get. I only say if they want to be the highest paid don’t complain about not having enough championships. Rodgers to me the greatest talent ever, but never took team friendlier deals so didn’t win much but at the same time. The packers rarely ever spent in free agency with Rodgers on the team.

    You all are crazy we took a chance in h with the two year contract. I would wait until at least halfway through the year to see if Jordan is actually legitimate. We got half of a great year I need more than that to commit $100 mil in guaranteed money.

  • @Metalbass10000
    @Metalbass10000 Месяц назад +1

    Hopefully Love is more like Brady, who was willing to take a slightly lower salary, a lower team salary cap hit, allowing the team to re-sign its own impending free agents, maybe sign a free agent here and there off another team, giving a higher chancr for TEAM success, and less like Rogers, who needed his ego fed by being right at or near the top of the highest paid QBs in the league every year. I think Love showed a lot as the season went on, but as you said, he's only demonstrated top level play for half of one season, unlike the other top salary QBs who have a longer proven track record. Maybe a somewhat lower salary than the top salaries, but include escalator clauses that reward him for team success with him playing, and for individual performance achievements.

    From a Utah St. standout to the Pack first year starter, Love has come a long way. If Love gets this extension, he might go corporate.
    Not sure what the Pack will do. It makes a lot of sense to let Love play out his contract. Many are suggesting big money. That kind of money wouldn't allow the Pack to resign their other stars in the near future. For him to merit that kind of contract, Love has got to be the truth. Right now it's a wait and see kind of deal.

  • @michaelotto8696

    It's a difficult negotiation. Hard to hang your hat for the next "x number" of years based on a great half a season. However, the promise is there. Lots will hinge on their conversations off season. I'd like to see 'em make a deal. Much depends on how Love looks at his role in the team. Some players understand that they have the final say on their deal, not the agent. GO PACK GO! It'll get done 😁

  • @parksma

    This is a bad idea. Wait till the year is through mid season. Not saying he is bad. I like the kid. I just think you don't have enough. The league is that different from Aaron's first year starting. It's so much easier to pass now.

  • @sputnikalgrim

    I’m no GM or agent so me speculating on what a good number is would be silly. The market recently has been 50ish so I’ll assume it close to that. I just hope they get it done quick before the season so he can lock in without distraction

    4 to 5 years, I think he takes a relatively team friendly deal. He saw how the team lost out on talent because they couldn't spend on other positions with Rodgers and he's a very humble guy in the way he speaks about the game and team. Still high money though, top 10-15 type pay I think

  • @edchristman9914

    @CalebPrescott-px7wf Месяц назад

    With his limited amount of time as a starter, only having a year, I would like to see maybe the first two years at a 37 million guarantee with 12-15 million on incentives then becoming a 55 million guaranteed contract for the next 3 years

      The market is what the market is, he may decide to take a team friendly deal but letting him play out his last year could go very wrong. I don’t know what a good number is because I’m not a GM or an agent. I’m guessing based on recent contracts he’ll get 50 mil per and at least 4 years. Just hope they get it done before the season starts so there are no distractions

    I think love deserves to be paid the 5th or 6th highest paid qb. I just don't see why we go through this with these qbs. I feel we had to keep Aaron happy, but then no money left over for free agents.. this is why I wish greenbay could have an owner to help with free agency. Butter the bread 🍞... I'm still amazed we got josh jacobs.... if Green Bay can stay healthy and win an SB , then we know, looking back, how big Josh has been for GB... I would put our new rb lyod through pass blocking drills and non fumble exercises, lol.

    Jordan Love has got to show he can play in the post season when behind late in a game and needing to drive the team downfield for the winning score. Against the Niners he had the game won but caved badly by throwing two ill advised picks under fourth quarter pressure and blew the game…while Purdy went 6-7 on his last drive to put his team ahead late in the game. A high paid QB needs to lead game winning drives in the biggest games to be paid mega millions as regular season stats are different from the pressure of playoffs.

    • @michaelotto8696
      @michaelotto8696 Месяц назад

      I don't believe he "caved" in the Niners game. I believe it was that recessive "Favre gene" rearing its ugly head. He just wanted to win that game soooo badly. That wisdom will come with experience. You can bet there was lots of discussion about that and that it was a well learned lesson.

    • @petervaichus6978
      @petervaichus6978 Месяц назад

      @@michaelotto8696 - caved…or lost his head. He chucked that ball across the field for a pick to three red jerseys and no open GB receiver
      …ON FIRST DOWN WITH A MINUTE LEFT!
      He has to just ran out of bounds or throw it out of bounds being chase out of the pocket and moved on to 2nd down.
      That’s a desperation throw on 4th down with five seconds left in the game. He also threw behind Kraft earlier on a 5-6 yard pass right in front of him earlier for a pick. He played rattled when behind and needing to drive the field to get his team to OT or a win. Can they coach him to play under such pressure to know the down and time left to move the chains with safe passes? Yeah, you may be right, they will be working specifically on the two minute drill with Jordan. Just saying that is a concern and skill he has to learn and show in big game situations in order to win a Super Bowl. Rodgers played good in the regular seasons with lofty stats but not very good under the playoff pressure of the better defenses. It would be nice if you are right about his training this off season.

  • @santosavila9312
    @santosavila9312 Месяц назад

    Why in the hell would you pay him to be the highest paid QB in the league based on one year to hamstring your ability to add more players to win Superbowls. We ve seen this story already. Injuries are also apart of this game and it's a team game. Is 40 mill a year not good enough. I'm hoping he is smart and takes less to continue to win instead of taking it all and getting his butt kicked bc of players around him having to leave

    Thank GOD none of you are GM’s including you Scoop because the Packers would be going down that salary cap rabbit hole they just dug themselves out of with Rodgers. The only difference is Rodgers is a 4 time MVP,Super Winner and MVP and has way more than 1 year of starting experience so yeah he earned his contract. All those guys you mentioned Scoop how many years of starting experience did they have to get those contracts? Most of these guys in the comments want to hand Love $50 million for one year of starting experience and10-10 starting record including playoffs. He hasn’t done shit in this league yet so before you hand him this so called bag or whatever let him earn it first. It should be easy for him since the NFL so to be NFFL is basically a flag football league and caters to qb’s so much you basically can’t touch them or it’s a penalty. ImThe NFFL has already gone woke so it already favors Love anyways. Just look no further than the Packers draft when they took 10 out 11 black players when there were better white available at those picks. Dejean,Barton,JPJ,Bishop and of course Payton Wilson passed over twice and they drafted a linebacker who can’t tackle and could of been had in the seventh round over Wilson who won the Bednarik award for the best linebacker in college football. So yeah Love has it easy but believe me when I say this he couldn’t of played in the 60’s,70’s,80’s,90’s,or early 2000’s because you could hit a quarterback back then and not be penalized until the Brady rules came into effect.
