Hi Mr Molski. I love to see you play music. It is a real challenge for me. I started fiddle two years ago at 79, I am now 81. How can I get y0ur Cd's. The young lady across from you plays with such is that her sister beside her. Thanks for the pods.
Awesome Thank you for the offer to dance on my sound board, now doing so in front of your Gig on my TV in Suffolk UK,so wish I was nearer, love Appalachian string band music, listening too and dancing cheers Dancing Dave
I know Bruce and Allison. This is the way I want to try jamming. Around my area the only one that I can seem to get into is at a bar and it is on-stage. Tough way to break into jamming. Really takes you out of your comfort zone. I talked them into doing a 'slow jam' for beginners for the hour before the big boys take over. It is working very well.
Bruce Molsky is running on overdrive! Lovely video, can't get enough. Enjoy getting to see Allison de Groot's playing style and hand positions. Just learning clawhammer and it really helps. Thanks so much for posting.

there was a really weird tune they played in this jam in the first few. all i remember is it hit a D chord that they slid up one fret for a beat or two then back town. Anyone remember the name of this tune?
I love this video for many reasons, but especially because we have an awesome look at my banjo hero, Allison de Groot.
Bruce Molsky is to Old Timey what Kenny Baker was to Bluegrass; Technically excellent, smooth as cashmere, and sweet vibes to the moon...🌹

Great beat, great musicians & beautiful laddies.
brings a tear to my eye and pain in my heart. of precious memories
Let that pain open the memories that the music brings, and make those memories reality again.
Love me some Bruce Molsky. His playing is just so effortless.
When you love your job so much that you tap your feet to be there then your happy.

Un grand bravo .
Sweet sounds coming from that guy's fiddle.
Raccoon has a bushy tail
Possum tail is bare
Rabbit has no tail at all
Just a little bunch of hair!!🎶🎵🎶

I was not there, but I can only assume it was rattletrap.
Bile 'em cabbage down babe turn them hoecakes round, the only song I can sing is bile 'em cabbage down.
Was the first tune not Bile them cabbage down?
I'd think so too, at least that's what Bruce was singin'
Well the way he sang it, it kinda wuz!
In OT you can vamp in universal verse

Girls that play old timey fiddle are sexiest on Earth
