Maybe people like myself can read between the lines and see the subtle inaccuracies in it.
This song, like the movie, "smacks of Protestant evangelicalisim. In the first verse it says Mary, did you know your baby boy has come to make "you" new??? - came to make her new? That's pure Protestant ignorance, Mary was made New prior to her conception in anticipation of Her role as Mother of God and not after the birth of Jesus. Again following that verse it continues" Mary did you know the child you delivered would soon deliver you??? Mary was delivered prior to her conception and not after Jesus was born- which Protestants of course deny and that verse is a denial of "Catholic Truth". Mary was born free from sin in anticipation of her role as Mother of God and needed to be. This is just one of the many " Evangelical Protestant 'digs' at the Catholic Truth in this song. The movie itself is highly dramatised and lacking in historical accuracy.
Moreover the "Did you know" aspect to the song is a denial of Mary's knowledge of who Her Son was. Mary knew who she was giving birth to as the Angel told her - and if she did not understand then, she most certainly did when Elizabeth greeted her as the mother of the Lord. I am a devout Catholic and would fail in my duty as a Christian if I were not to point out these inaccuracies. Not that it matters much as the Catholic Truth is being destroyed from within and replaced with poisonous Church of England Idiologies through the Alpha Course anyway. We must not accept and mix protestant idiologies with Catholic truth. Deuteronomy 22;9 clearly states what happens if we plant two different seeds in the vineyard of God

@dennis1662 The belief that Mary lived without sin from the moment of her conception springs from Church tradition. It evolved over a period of time and was not formally defined as a teaching of the Church until 1854. It is not found explicitly in Scripture, but seems for Catholics to flow naturally from the testimony of Scripture that Mary was “full of grace” (Luke 1:28) and “blessed” (Luke 1:42).
In Catholic understanding, the belief in Mary’s “immaculate conception” does not say so much about Mary as it is about Christ’s saving power. We believe that God created the human person to be in God’s own image. Grace is more original than sin. Our natural state was to be “full of grace.”

Mary the mother of Jesus was a godly and blessed woman, but she was not without sin. Jesus was the only human without sin. Jesus “had no sin” (2 Corinthians 5:21). “In him is no sin” (1 John 3:5). Nothing of the sort is ever said of Mary or anyone else. Jesus Christ is fully human, but He is also fully God (John 1:1). He is the Lamb of God, “without blemish or defect” (1 Peter 1:19), a title and description no other person can claim.
