This came at a time when I needed it most. I have been going through some things. I have doing without power at my apartment for nearly two weeks, I couldn't my utility bill. I didn't know what to do. So God kept dealing with heart to ask my neighbor. My phone was dead and I didn't have much a way to charge it up. So I him my neighbor and told about my circumstances. He fixed away to use his power with a cord and I had lights. He felt a little ill about but I gave him money to use it. God makes a way where there no way. Then I lost my debit and just seem to disappear. So had them to put a rush job on it. God makes a way where there no way. I have been having to roll a lot things on God lately. 😉
I had a little black dog that passed at 15 years. I didn't know how to take it. Then I heard that voice say that don't worry I will give you peace. That has been 4 years ago. He has calmed the grief beyond belief. Now I have a jack Russell.❤❤.
Had to say goodbye to my precious service dog today & this song really ministers to me. Thank you so much for having it available even after all these years, I still love it.
Yes it is really hard to say good bye. But God has the most wonderful peace he gives when we lose a love one. I lost my beloved dog , I didn't know how I was going to cope, and Jesus said I will give you peace. And he has, beyond understanding.
Yes Amen and Amen!!! Been a while since I listened to this one, but thank you Lord, it’s just what the Master of the wind ordered for me today! His calming presence, His peace, His blessed assurance, whether He delivers me from the storm or through it, either way I’m blessed and so eternally grateful!! 🙏✝️
I have MAJOR anxiety issues and this past year has been a hurricane and tsunami for me. This song has LITERALLY saved my life. There were times I was on the verge or just saying goodbye to this world but I would hear Sister Carol singing this song and the peace it brought me through the storm. Rather than medication I’m trying to hum this song to myself and once again it’s bringing me peace. Side note. My mom, dad and myself were at this taping at Renfro Valley. I’m 85% certain I see dad and mom. My late mother was in VERY poor health and dad went to the booth and asked Sister Peg to sing moms favorite song “Borrowed Tomb” and they did. Mom honestly felt her failing body was a borrowed tomb and she accepted she would soon be with her lord and out of pain.
First John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him.
They have came to Springfield Mo.severael times and even cane to my home church. I went and saw them everytime. They helped my aunt when she almost passed out walking by them. I believe it was the Holy Spirit
Troubled waters came my way; the angry storm grew near I prayed for God to speak the words to make it disappear It seemed the waves would not obey the master's call for peace But then the Lord spoke to my soul; reminded me He had control And said this time His words were meant for me -------------------(Chorus)------------------- Sometimes He calms the storm; sometimes He calms me Sometimes the storm still rages on but I feel the sweetest peace It's such a joy to know that my Lord knows just what I need Sometimes He calms the storm; sometimes He calms me ---------------------------------------------------- Circumstance may overtake and bring me to my knees But when I feel I cannot cope with this life's troubled seas I call on him whose voice can still much greater storms than these His words bring peace into my soul when He says child I'm in control And with one touch He calms the storm in me (Chorus)
I HAVE JUST ABOUT COME TO END OF MY LIFE CAUSE MY HOUSE BURNT THEN MY CAR WAS STOLLEN AND THEN I START HAVING BAD HEALTH PROBLEMS THANK GOD AM STILL HERE
Amen, this is so true...he is always there with us for every trial we face and heart break....for he has been with me every day since my mom went home to heaven...without him I would have never made it....I love him so much.......
I was attracted to the McKamey's from the first video I watched when I saw how the spirit of our Holy God was working through these beautiful singers. The McKamey's have that special glow that people have when they definitely believe the words they sing.
LYRICS Troubled waters came my way angry storms drew near, I prayed for God to speak a word to make them disappear; It seems the waves would not obey the Master's call for peace, Then he spoke into my soul, reminded me he had control, And said this time his words were meant for me. Sometimes he calms the storm, sometimes he calms me, Sometimes the storm rages on but I feel the sweetest peace; It's such a joy to know that my Lord knows just what I need, Sometimes he calms the storm sometimes he calms me. Circumstance my overtake and bring me to my knees, But when I feel I cannot cope with this life's troubled seas; I call on him whose voice can still much greater storms than these, His words bring peace into my soul when he said Child, I'm in control, And with one touch he calms the storms in me. Sometimes he calms the storm, sometimes he calms me, Sometimes the storm rages on but I feel the sweetest peace; It's such a joy to know that my Lord knows just what I need, Sometimes he calms the storm sometimes he calms me.
What will we say when we stand for judgement. God loves us all and Jesus died for our sins to be forgiven. Please accept Jesus as your Savior if you have not already. God bless.
The first time I heard The Wall of Prayer I literally fell in love with it. Thank God for youns writing this song. We need more songs this in wicked old world. I heard it by a former member of our church family. Mrs. Bess E Adair
He never speaks to anything that it doesn't obey! No matter what it is. If the storm rages it's because He allowed it too. Not because He spoke to it and it didn't obey!!!
What a thing to say! Perhaps its just one of those things where behavior doesnt fit the/one's beliefs( Peggy behaves more extrovert than "genteely") that gives such a notion?
@@katherinejones3057 You call Peggy's stage antics extroversion. I call them choreographed ploys calculated to excite fleshly emotions in her audience.
@@IsaacNussbaum @Isaac Nussbaum @Isaac Nussbaum Well, that seems to be a "funny" thing to say when by your first statement you admit you dont know them. And since only God knows a man's heart, well,I reckon only He knows how fake or not she is. I could understand if you had just said you didnt like/couldnt relate to her style of worship. Well,I'm certainly not going to stay here debating how sincere or not she is. Sometimes I admit I dont like a certain style of worship etc,but I hope I dont go so far as to speak abt the condition of a person's heart. Because thats what it sounds like you are doing...and I think you would have to know the person to say that. Ps: since Carol is all part of the program, wouldnt she be guilty...if only as "an accessory to the fact"...to the "stage antics" Peggy does to work up the crowd? How more sincere and genuine a person would that make her then? And if so, being that "sincere and genuine person",shouldnt she then be speaking to Peggy to cut it out?...Just saying.
May I add one more thought? You know,I do believe it actually takes more to go out there and express yourself like that...all uninhibited...than doing the nice dignified thing. You are liable to be looked more upon as a fool than just having "joy in the spirit"- (which is what I believe Peggy exhibits. And trust me,when I first came across the McKameys,I was a bit "jolted" by her,I admit:). Especially if its something generally not familiar with. Now of course I am not saying that everyone is having joy in the spirit...some are really just antics and performances. We do need to be discerning. But we also need to be careful in passing judgment. I am reminded of Jesus'words at Matt 11:16-19. Wisdom...the Holy Spirit. Lets ask for them today...the Bible promises He will give liberally.
Such a great message, this is how Sothern Gospel should be, this song is a sermon for the soul!! The McKameys is the best gospel group !!!
