They are rare because most of them ended up in ditches or wrapped round trees, or got nicked and burnt out! I do love the old cars as I was a teenager in the 90s and grew up with cars like this. Can't believe this one has AP racing brakes on it like, deffo overkill but love it!👌🏻

I remember my mate wrapping his nova GTE round a tree back in the nineties! Lol 😂 the stock SR and GTE were both death traps! Way too vague on the front end. Torque steer, understeer, oversteer and bosh you’re in a ditch! lol 😂

I’m convinced I knew one of the previous owners of this car when it was a standard 2.0 litre RedTop it was mint when he owned it, if it’s the same car it’s originally from Ireland I notice the registration, I could be wrong but it’s the exact same only without being stripped out and tuned.. she is mint!❤️🚗👌

You're spot on. Opel cars were left hand drive. Unless this car is an import and they did a swap to right hand drive. But UK spec should be the Vauxhall Dragon which is way cooler imo😊

The Nova was always a cool car in my youth , good looking. if you had a 1.3 Sr.. a god at 17, if you had a 1.6 sr? wow..and a GTE????? GIRLS WOULD FLOCK TO YOU!lol... regretfully I did not have one then, my cars were always cooler!
Growing up in Canada we missed the whole hot hatch era. The only thing we got was the VW Gti, arguably the most sedate hatch of them all. No Peugeot, no Renault, no Vauxhall, no Ford, no nothink!
We love a good hot hatch here in England unfortunately now most of the new models are to expensive.
