I’d like to see how you’d perform with a whole crowd of people booing you. Have you been in a stadium that big? The energy from the crowd is crazy and overwhelming, now imagine that is turned against you. I don’t care how experienced he is, it’s still upsetting to experience. This isn’t like a team sport where you have people on site supporting you to diffuse the boos, they’re standing alone out there.

Man, Djoker really whiffed on this one. I don't know what was going on with him. I respect the guy as being the GOAT, and I know there are other times when the crowd is going wild for a sentimental favorite (e.g., Federer), but this was not one of them.
I have watched portions of this match, and the crowd was obviously chanting "Ruuuuune" and not "disrespecting" Novak. They were trying to pump up Rune to make it more of a match, because it was so one-sided (Djoker was killing him).
Djoker fans, your guy is not perfect. Just like Federer is not perfect, nor is Nadal perfect, nor is anyone.
