When you said AI gave you the ability to create art without the skills reminded me of exactly why I got into computers in the first place, way back in the 80's. It gave me the ability to do things you would need a big business to do at the time, like desktop publishing and 3D graphics. I have been hooked to computers ever since!
nice camera upgrade good to see you blowing up my dude you are nice person and your putting many hours in for us to understand what you do in few minutes so i am thankful for that to you . god bless you brother
Really cool step by step thank you. Artist advice on the bing logo integration, you could also add one extra touch on things that are being added to something with an angle to it (since the computer is set at a 3/4 perspective). See if canva has a perspective tool and match the perspective lines to the face side of the monitor. That way the bing logo is also at that angle. It's minor, but worth it imo. Great video!!
AI makes creativity more efficient. I can blast through 5-10 concepts quickly. Plus, I’ve been learning the fundamentals of Photoshop these past few weeks. Those that combine AI with some basic design skills will have an advantage. Same goes for marketing, coding, etc. AI just makes you better.
Your points that you make at the end. About how AI enables creative people to jump ahead of having to learn how to use the software or how to develop a sense of design is really what will change the creative industries. I used to teach video production and digital graphic arts. And my father was a commercial artist who used to use a drafting table. His first Mac plus cut his production time by 80%. Look at how we're jumping ahead now. Of course, I have mixed feelings about this. But I have to jump on the bandwagon. I'm an instructional designer and I create educational media. I'm also a content creator. So I get your point. It's scary it's like we're jumping light years ahead, but we have to do it because it's here now. thanks for all of your videos? They are really helping to guide me.
Awesome!! Man how my PC friends deal w their loud keyboard noises (especially in 2023) is just cray to me how y’all choose to listen to all day night ha
Could you set up a Playlist for this type of topic? Much easier for us ro follow as we learn the various process, play list for MJ, SD and variant, etc.? Love futuretools and newsletter but inFo overwhelm is serious problem deciding what tools to use for a project as a newbie, Thanks for the thought. .
Hi @mreflow, first, thank you for the email of Future tools that you sent last Friday. About this video: great class on how to create a thumbnail, the video is very useful as always.
@matt wolfe , i noticed in this video to generate a likeness of yourself you used stable diffusion v1.5 and not a trained custom model of yourself. then how did it generate your face? im confused.
Love the video! However on the other videos you don't explain how to upload your model to be used in stable diffusion. Can you please point me in the right direction?
You can definitely do that as well. I find this method to be just as quick. Just find someone making the pose you want and pull it in. In my opinion, it's quicker than taking the photo yourself but everyone should experiment with whatever workflow is best for them.
@Matt do you still do thumbnails this same way? For non Techy users is there an easier way to use your face for positions in stable diffusion? Any ai tools or sites? Thanks buddy. I’m a subscriber
Hi Matt, this is great. Also saw you video on how to create the model of your own face. What I can't work out is how to import the model.ckpt into rundiffusion or diffusion bee in order to do what you did above. do you have a video on that?B
you should have a playlist with all related video because it seems we miss an episode if we only watch this, especially how your turn your face into a meme stroed in a cloud 😂
Thanks for this video! I tried out midjourney for the same reason, but it never gives me the size I want. How do you get it to do 16:9 ratio? I've tried that and the image size and it never works.
I've been meaning to ask you something about this and hope to get your help. How do you do this on a Mac? Is there any way to do this more easily now using photos? It would be so much fun to experiment with this on a Mac, Matt!!!!
I just ran a search on RUclips, and was shocked to see only video previews, instead of thumbnails. Yes, all thumbnails are gone, only RUclips auto-generated previews are showing. Maybe the end of thumbnails is here, not just near.
This used to be a whole as$ graphic design class in college that people paid thousands for. Now you can do learn to do this in 30 mins for free. So many jobs will be gone in the span of next 5 years its gonna be insane. Buckle up boys the ai revolution is here.
That would work as well. I find the professional, high-quality photos will work better due to the lighting and composition. But absolutely, create the pose yourself as well. I find this to be just as quick.
GG. all that hard work to get troll comments, but i guess thumbnails are important... well, if you have a base of viewers. overwize, the amount of work is just discouraging.
There will always be Luddites whenever technology advances any area of life. As long as neither side of the issue seek to force all to do it by their choice, I don't care anymore. Photography use to require darkroom skills, with chemicals, in order to manipulate one's images. Today the process is available to everyone, minus the darkroom chemicals. Yet there are still people who will not accept images done digitally. Painting is another area. Graphic artists in the digital realm who do all their work via a tablet and a computer still don't get the respect for their art. It's much better today than when such painting first started, but there are still people who look down their nose if the artist used a computer, even when they literally drew, by hand, their painting. I reckon it will be the same with AI generated images and stories. ANY from of creativity can be used for propaganda and more nefarious reasons. So people should continue to be aware of that possibility. Nonetheless, great good and positive things can also come as a result of AI assisted creativity. (And don't get me started about AI assisted music creation. Just because a musician uses AI sometimes does not mean their creative output is not "music." Like it or not, there is a "cold, hard" aspect to music that is at play no matter where the "inspiration" comes from.) I really do appreciate you, your channel, and the website "Future Tools." I've learned, and understood, far more in just the few weeks since I have been watching your videos than in the past 5+ years I have been reading about it. It's clear to me that you really do love all of this technology and it shows in how your videos draw me in and teach me things that I have had a hard time doing elsewhere. That is not meant as a put-down of anyone else covering these subjects. It's just your style is a much better fit for my learning. Thank you.
Never, ever put a reaction face in your thumbnail. It's an insult to the intelligence of you audience. We're not 13 year old girls. You don't need to tell us how to feel about your content. Thanks.

I absolutely love what you are doing with Future Tools and your branding. Clever, Creative, and Compelling!
This is the most elaborate thumbnail creation I have ever seen! At 14:31 is simply brilliant! THANK you Matt!
This is amazing, Matt. The way you combined AI tools for the final outcome is impressive indeed. You've just got a big fan.
Absolutely amazing tutorial, Matt. Love seeing your process. Keep it up 🔥
Dude, put simply, you are amazing. MONTHS of knowledge in an 18 minute video.
Thank you for licensing your training images and also raising awareness of that potential issue.

Believe me. I’m a graphic designer. Today is the first time I saw someone buying a stock image. I’m amazed.
I love this channel and the way it shows IA-powered tools. It helps a lot to discover new tools.

All I want is for AI to give me accurate stock predictions and sport game betting predictions lmao 😁
Thank you for your thoughts. I’m so mixed in my feelings about AI image generation. So it’s good to know your perspective.
@@eMillion100 Haha...no.
My thumbnail game about to crazy now 🔥
Thanks for sharing your technique, Matt! I love the tempo of your explanation. Fast, but not too fast.
So helpful and production quality so high. Thank you!
Very nice. The entire process, with comments over what you like, and how to do the same for free. Very helpful and honest Much appreciated!
1:30 I'm sure you can do that either way, I'm not a premium user, but I still have it in a private server.
The Thumbnails are cool. I did like a lot of the Backgrounds in your previous videos also.
15:40 Best testimonial ever!
The most underrated RUclips channel ever
amazingly this tutorial is very inspiring and makes me even more challenged to explore more new techniques about thumbnail design for RUclips

Impressed! Thank you, Matt
So cool! thank you for sharing, can't wait to play around with all of this.
Speaking of Dominic Cooper.....they ever finish out that Preacher show? Was so good. Indeed to look into that.
As always, good stuff Matt. Inspired me to start a channel
Very cool and wildly complex awesomeness. 🙏🏽

Very Fantastic Video
the bing logo covers the windows logo. and maybe too many things happening. but anyway, strong communication item, for sure!!
@matt wolfe , i noticed in this video to generate a likeness of yourself you used stable diffusion v1.5 and not a trained custom model of yourself. then how did it generate your face? im confused.

Thanks incredible Video! greetings from México!
Love the video!
However on the other videos you don't explain how to upload your model to be used in stable diffusion.
Can you please point me in the right direction?
How do you upload your model to rundiffusion?
What about taking a photo of yourself and use it, rather than having to search, buy,... etc.?
You can definitely do that as well. I find this method to be just as quick. Just find someone making the pose you want and pull it in. In my opinion, it's quicker than taking the photo yourself but everyone should experiment with whatever workflow is best for them.
That was pretty sweet thx so much ... i bet u could create your own model with pose using ai prompts too, avoid the copyrights!
Loved it! Thanks!
very valuable content you have created, it does help out alot. you got new Sub here
Never clicked this fast haha
What you need, is an AI that will automate that whole process.... :) Fun video my dude.

great job as always MaestroMatt! Question...any suggestions on what app and prompts for creating caricatures? ty
I would just try MidJourney with caricature related prompts. Leonardo.ai is another great option to test.

TF-TRT Warning: Could not find TensorRT
Researched for 8 hours, i can't seem to fix this, could you help?

Love your videos
Has this process been updated? If not, that is fine. I just want to know before I spend time following this video this weekend. Thanks in advance.
Great Job buddy :) thanks
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
wondering if this still works, would like to incoperate this into my channel
Do you have to pay in order to be able to use the images in thumbnails?
Thx!
It is time for a more time-effective thumbnail generator. I wonder when we will see AI in Affinity Designer.
Cool Video
This is amazing. But I feel some of the steps might have needed more details... thank you.
Circuitous nightmare face palm!
So we need a full day and 5 softwares and break our heads for a thumbnail.
how do you get midjourney in a pivate room? i already have the subscription
you just message it

Midjourney lol I saw that coming they are also not free anymore 😢.
Excellent video ! I do have a feed back tho : please stop with the fake mouse sound ... it triggers me so much. At lease make it less loud !
Time for an update? :D
Why not take a photo of yourself as "Disapointment", wouldn't that work?
I was thinking that - would have saved a lot of time…
Came here to say that. I just took a face palm photo of myself - took 2 seconds.
That would work as well. I find the professional, high-quality photos will work better due to the lighting and composition. But absolutely, create the pose yourself as well. I find this to be just as quick.

lol, telling about this like 2nd time or so
damn so easy made thumbnail using AI
