@@Plp2456 Correct-A very strong set of lungs and a very talented player-I have two of his albums and he's up there with Maynard Ferguson, Al Hirt and Doc Severinson!:)-John in Texas
A very intense tune . A tune written long before these guys where born . Still this trumpet player has put in the time to learn and perform this iconic TV show theme . Bravo !
I would agree - except for Moto Perpetuo, which requires the trumpet player to use circular breathing for over 4 and a half minutes because there are no rests. But the amount of double and triple tonguing required here is extremely difficult no doubt.
@@Jabulaya I had a band director in college. I asked him if we could do El Salon Mexico (the Aaron Copeland piece). He said he would love to but he doubted that any of the trumpet players could do the part which calls for double tonguing. Btw, the saxes on the original Green Hornet recording also have a nasty time trying to play their parts as well.
Tim Waygar That was also Al Hirt when he was fresh... I’m pretty damn sure Green Hornet was not the first piece Tero played at this concert. It’s way better when you listen to the version he plays in studio compared to in concert.
Thanks a lot for not taking down my video with this song, It's one of the best one I've listened in my life, my favorite one, I repeat this song almost daily and when I do long walks sometimes I repeat this song without a headset, I let the mobile in my hands and then I walk with It, the time seems to be froze by this music and I end not feeling anything but just this incredible energetic harmony. Thanks for this brilliant job.
It's much more difficult to copy someone else's style than it is to create your own style. Advantage goes to Al Hirt. Although, Mr. Lindberg demonstrates awesome talent. WOW !!
That's is an extremely difficult trumpet piece. AL HIRT was an amazing trumpet player in the 60s and 70s there wasn't a household in America that didn't know who he was. This man in this video is amazing.
Just found this while looking for Al Hirt's original following up on a Jeopardy! question. Mr. Lindberg is the only trumpeter I know who can match Al Hirt. He really did the piece justice!!
Que bárbaro que cosa tan buena que viva la musica, uff soy trompetista y eso lo que hace es inspirarte mas, tengo casi 40 ejecutando y los que faltan. Bravooooooooo.

There's actually a movie about that, but with a pianist
@@danielotero9038 What movie is that?
I definitely lol’ed
a true test of one's lip control on the trumpet!! EXCELLENT!!!
more of a Lung test!
ta ka and ta ta ka
Lol there's a test and then there's a masterpiece.
@@jameslilly9856 Not to mention ta ka ta.
MUCH more than just the lips are involved to do this.
This is, by far, the best live version of this song on youtube.
I wish someone would post an Al Hirt live version.
there js
So far, I can't find a live version of Hirt playing it.
@@healthdios Don't give up, keep looking!

What does the age of the song have to do with anything
R.I.P.😢
Van *The Hornet* Williams
Bruce *The Dragon* Lee
Al *The Horn* Hirt
Flawless performance, clean and crisp from start to finish
Yes. Better than Hirt in that aspect, but Hirt put a touch of NOLA in his version.
As punishment for betraying this criminal syndicate, I will make you play the green hornet theme...FOR FOUR HOURS!
*strokes chin and laughs evilly*
CCootauco if they can even play it all ya dijmpsokop
Probably the greatest challenge for any trumpet player. This Is great, Well done

My goodness, if I haven't seen it I wouldn't believe it, he went on for way longer that I thought humanly possible.
LOVE IT !!!!, A ++++
Amazing control. Love Tero’s playing!
Thanks 😀🙏
If I closed my eyes, I would have thought it was Al Hirt himself, that’s some serious trumpet playing!!
Michael Gray go listen to Wayne Bergeron if you want to hear some serious commercial playing
Al Hirt's tone is much fuller. Listen to Al Hirt's rendition again.
Al Hirt I'll smirked listen to the true Master Raphael Menendez play this

Listen to Andrea Giufreddi play it and Al Hirt was a god to me growing up. Maestro Giufreddi - I think he beats them both .
Great sound! best version on youtube!
Thank you :-)
I wish my school would do this for one of their concerts. I wish they made themes like this again. Such a classic sound.
That’s because guys like Al Hirt are dead. Such a genius.
Most people today don't have the ears to really appreciate such music 🎶 .
If they got a middle school band together on this it would be a train wreck before the first stanza.
Who play trumpet?! This song is really difficult
Excellent movie theme!!!! Excellent performance giving up feelings Bruce Lee and Van Williams live forever!!!
Tero lindberg is the best. I really like this song. I'm from colombia, greetings🎺🎶🎵👍🏻

Al Hirt is unbeatable, but this guy is awesome also.
