i think the reason why most of us (including myself) is excited for this at hindi disappointed sa casting ay dahil mga “fresh faces” ang mga artista. nakaka-umay din kasi kung laging same actors/actresses ang gumaganap. also, since hindi pa ganon kasikat ang mga cast, they still don't have this specific public persona-which actually contributes to the overall appeal of an actor/actress-and this very thing hinders the viewers'/audience's perception of the characters they're portraying. for example, mahirap panoorin ang isang artista na gumaganap na isang character na loyal or faithful knowing na cheater ito in real life, ganon. although, most of the cast had previous projects, it's not as big as this one. so, sa mata ng publiko, they still have this blank slate which works best for portraying characters from beloved stories that already has a fandom. maganda rin yung cinematography at acting nila even though they're rookies. i hope we'll get to see more “fresh faces” sa future adaptations ng ibang books :>
