When you stay at a the Grand (adults only) you have access to their sister resorts. We really enjoyed walking around the other resorts and even played in the pool area where the kids are. They have a lot of entertainment during the day by the family pool. When we were ready for some quiet time we went back the adults only Grand Bavaro! The weddings are very well done at the Iberostar resorts. You will have a wonderful time there!
On our first trip the butler service was just ok. So we tipped $50 at the end. On our last trip the butler service was beyond amazing! We tipped both butlers $100 each. We tipped $50 on the 3rd day of our 7 day stay. We thanked them for their service so far and told we would show them our appreciation again at our departure. Their response to our mid week gratuity was “We are only getting started!” and they were right. We were pampered beyond our wildest imagination as you can see from the nightly baths and bed covered in flowers, champagne on ice always and chocolate treats! Hope this helps and enjoy your stay!
