lol, so funny. Such different personalities. Though you can't help but love Dave. Straight up, no BS, pulls like a freight train and that's it. Pure classic American horsepower. I'll never forget his match against Laletin for as long as I live. Greatest arm wrestling match I've ever seen and it was MODERN. Crazy.
Great video, Devon as always walking that line and winding things up to create the event while still able to bring things back and give respect to his opponent. It's all part of the game .
If only more people could appreciate rather than hate.

its all a show, theyre actually good friends, they pretend on camera to boost views and engagement, its all intentional and by design. A lot of suckers think its real. Theyre real competitors but the beef is all show.

Hey Matt, respect to you for having real, high-level interviewing skills. You could just be somebody in the scene with a camera, and those people ALWAYS interject their opinion whereas you ask concise questions and then put the focus on the subject. No fat, only quality

Dave’s likeable got nothing against him but Devon’s the man. Devons the one growing this sport by massive lengths of degrees due to his personality and antics. Makes it fun more arm wrestlers need to learn to build match’s. He’s having fun and doing what needs to simple.

In all fairness, Dave isn't wrong on about 90% of what he said.
It’s his perspective but not necessarily true and a bit disingenuous. Devon was active special forces. He had to hand pick when he could pull. For example, against John in 2008, he literally got off the plane from a tour in Afghanistan and pulled John just a day or 2 later. In Armwars Vegas, Devon just got home from a tour as well. When he pulled Ron Bath in 2006, he just got back from a tour where he was shot. 7 tours in Afghanistan and when in special forces, his superiors didn’t like him arm wrestling or drawing too much attention to him. That’s a big deal that people seem to not consider. It seems people assume he was sitting on his ass and avoiding people. He was literally in active wars getting shot at.
@Dmgolfer22 everything Dave said was true. Devon has manipulated grips and refs every match he's been in for at least 5 years. Without question. That's why the comment has 22 likes and your the odd one out.

Everybody seem like regular everyday people, and they aren’t affraid to let that aspect shine through. Even though they are amazing atheletes at the top of the game . Man am I glad I discovered this sport 💪

I don't think Dave is as stupid as Devan says he is. If he was on social media more and people got to know him better I think he would do well. His work probably wouldn't like it so much which might be a reason why he doesn't but he seems pretty reserved. Cant wait for the match. Also loved it how both said Jerry is not at the top which might stir the pot a little which will make the match bigger whoever faces him.
Dave isn't stupid at all. Devon is fabricating it so he has something to talk shit on and trying to make the match interesting. Dave is one of those guys that there is nothing you can legitimately talk shit on. He's a nice guy, strong as the come, well spoken and has a solid career. This frustrates Devon. I think Devon also knows that if Dave put himself fully into armwrestling and learned technique like Devon that he could possibly be the best.

All the people shitting on Devon for the build up talk should really pay attention to what he says AFTER the match. That is him being serious.

Dave's only losses are to the best the world has to offer. His last match was definitely his worst lately but all of his other losses aside from Levan he had the upper hand for the first 49% of the supermatch. Dave's the man, just remember who he is facing in these matches and his current age.
