yeah a lot of nod missions can be beaten using troll tactics, like the one where you have to destroy some buildings and capture 2 scrin and 2 GDI MCVs, none of the factions attack you at first, so you just send 20 saboteurs (5 to each base), move them as close to the marked buildings as you can, then use planning mode to capture everything at the same time.

Always hated mission 13 Ayers Rock due to the hard difficulty when she sends Avatars/Flame Tanks like ~5min into the mission. The Con Yard base creep uphill was very smart. Kudos :)

I am sure some ex Westwood employees were involved and some ideas + concept art was used but I don't really think it's fair to say that it was done "with Westwoods help". Please note, I love(d) Westwood and I haven't forgiven EA for closing the studio down but let us try to be fair, without EA we wouldn't have C&C TS+FS (TS had a really troubled development and the money from EA really helped save the game), C&C RA2+YR, C&C Gen or C&C TW+KW. Please critizise EA when they do things wrong (and they often do) but they do deserve praise when they do things right. EA Games is a bit like Tiberium, in the right amounts "the possibilites are limitless" (to paraphrase dr Ignatio Mobius) but when it takes over the world it starts becoming a problem.
Also I like that they thought outside the box for the third games' nod vehicle factory and all, but wouldn't you want most if not all unit production to be anywhere but directly in frontlines? For such a beautiful story this just seems like a hole in the plot

@@hdw my favorite mission in Command and conquer tiberium wars Nod campaign is the Catalyst launch facility level and what I like to do in that level is capture one of the Scrin gravity stabilizers a get a lot of Devastator warships.
I love the fact that in the andrews air base you can just use the barracks to train GDI troops. Imagine a saboteur capturing a war factory, NOD mammoth tanks 😂
I probably won’t get an answer, but I’m playing on the version of the game for the Xbox 360 where you start out with an Avatar on the NOD Sarajevo mission. For whatever reason the game has an abnormal amount of predator tanks that they just send to the East side that I’m going through. Am I doing something wrong? There’s just so many tanks. They also refuse to target anything else but my truck.

Create a combination of units: flame tanks+buggies+bikes. Bikes are effective for eliminating infantry. Buggies for eliminating pitbulls. Don’t forget to garrison rocket militants near your base.

It depends on your strategy and efficiency. If you play slowly and inefficiently, the AI will build a strong base and attack you with more units. I always show stats at the end of a mission so you can compare yours with mine.

I never understood how you could harvest Tiberium in a Blue Zone. Spikes? Maybe. Silos? Sure, but actual tiberium craters? That would make it a Yellow Zone, wouldn't it?
How did you not lost on 2:39:38? I tried this mission like 20 times and it is the only one i didn't beat on hard in the whole game. Those turrets one-shot your saboteurs, but yours just tank the damage no problem. Was there a patch that increased sabotuers HP in this mission by 10 000%?
Its fairly simple with this one: first wait for the 3 scorpions to leave the capturable base, kill the scorpion patrol with your avatar, keep your saboteurs in safe distance behind avatar but not close to base, then rush with avatar to intercept the incoming flame tanks, you can pick up other one of them to do fire damage to enemy units and also squash the troopers, while your avatar wreaks havoc, run those saboteurs up west to the buildings, this might take a few loads but it works, my problem never was the capture part in this mission, it was the after that annoyed the shit outta me, unless I saw that awesome saboteur trick
Did you mean the "Atlantic Coast" mission? There are only 3 bonus objectives: 1) Destroy the GDI Construction Yard. 2) Eliminate the GDI Aircraft Carrier. 3) Destroy the Rig before it can reach the Artillery Emplacement.
2047 - 2049 years: Tiberium Wars (The 3rd Tiberium War): 2034 - 2052 years: Kane's Wrath focuses around the events after the Firestorm Crisis, before and during the Third Tiberium War, and shortly afterwards.
The graphics of games are futuristics. Very nice! But the movements are not realistic compared to Command and Counquer Generals Zero Hours. Much better to slower down the movements not abrupt, so that it will be look real and nice to play.
Oh dear, it seems the opening strategy of Kane's Tower isn't that much different between players isn't it? I remember an old video of another player doing this level which he did almost the same thing as you did, except you'll be hearing "We've got rockets" instead of "The Black hand has arrived." spamming ad infinitum.

I'm losing my mind over the last on mission on Hard, followed ur instructions for atleast +20 times, still either I dont have enough cash for something and then even though I micro those flame troopers like a god they will lose in 15 mins or so... at best I got bonus objectives done and the far right bottom destroyed, but... fucking GDI had assimilated the alien base, once again
Did you try to destroy the northeastern GDI base with 5 Juggernauts? Ignore the southeastern GDI base. Concentrate your "fire" from Juggernauts to the northeastern GDI base. Why didn't the enemy units or base defenses shoot at your saboteurs in Operation Stiletto? I love those cheesy solutions to some of the missions, but it would be interesting to see them done in a normal way, too.
they should have kept a grid based design. it looks better for this sort of game. Warcraft 3 at the time had a more freeform terrain but thats a much more organic looking strategy with forests and hills not with urban setting
On last mission 17 (Kains Tower) on Hard seems not possible to win on xbox one x. Since there are double the number of enemy before you even build anything. The xbox build que is also so slow that the second build almost stops sometimes that by the time I have time to build bombers I am overrun by Mammouth Tanks.
Back then when I first played the game it was on xbox 360,and I remember spending hours and hours tryharding NOD last mission,for some reasons the difficulty is through the roof on xbox lol
@John joseph Corona Played this on xbox 1x with backward compatible on Hard. Was not easy. Use to be able to play this on PC with Game Pad Controller but with win 10 the PC gamepad program (Pinnacle) not supported anymore in windows 10. Steam controller software is just not that good and just makes the controller work like a slow mouse.

No! he dont kills you, kane needs the Tacitus to travel thru the tower and in that monent in CNC3 He does not have the objetct. At the end of kanes wrath last mission he achieve the tacitus and use it on legion; with the artifact legion can control the main scrin cpu to use the tower... so thats the real NOD ascention... (so sorry for my bad english)

This was the best C&C game. Just goes to show that when EA allowed their devs from Westwood to do their work they could turn out a good product.

@@hdw my favorite mission in Command and conquer tiberium wars Nod campaign is the Catalyst launch facility level and what I like to do in that level is capture one of the Scrin gravity stabilizers a get a lot of Devastator warships.

I probably won’t get an answer, but I’m playing on the version of the game for the Xbox 360 where you start out with an Avatar on the NOD Sarajevo mission. For whatever reason the game has an abnormal amount of predator tanks that they just send to the East side that I’m going through. Am I doing something wrong? There’s just so many tanks. They also refuse to target anything else but my truck.

Create a combination of units: flame tanks+buggies+bikes. Bikes are effective for eliminating infantry. Buggies for eliminating pitbulls. Don’t forget to garrison rocket militants near your base.

When I played this on Medium the AI was going apeshit and spamming tank divisions at me constantly, I clearly picked the wrong difficulty.
It depends on your strategy and efficiency. If you play slowly and inefficiently, the AI will build a strong base and attack you with more units. I always show stats at the end of a mission so you can compare yours with mine.
@@hdw Yep, when I think back now, you're quite right. I basically gave the enemy the chance to attack me due to not knowing triggers and being inefficient :)

I never understood how you could harvest Tiberium in a Blue Zone. Spikes? Maybe. Silos? Sure, but actual tiberium craters? That would make it a Yellow Zone, wouldn't it?

I tried this mission like 20 times and it is the only one i didn't beat on hard in the whole game.
Those turrets one-shot your saboteurs, but yours just tank the damage no problem.
Was there a patch that increased sabotuers HP in this mission by 10 000%?
The official Tiberium Wars version 1.09 for PC from Steam. What’s your version?
You can also send saboteurs to the west entrance.
Its fairly simple with this one: first wait for the 3 scorpions to leave the capturable base, kill the scorpion patrol with your avatar, keep your saboteurs in safe distance behind avatar but not close to base, then rush with avatar to intercept the incoming flame tanks, you can pick up other one of them to do fire damage to enemy units and also squash the troopers, while your avatar wreaks havoc, run those saboteurs up west to the buildings, this might take a few loads but it works, my problem never was the capture part in this mission, it was the after that annoyed the shit outta me, unless I saw that awesome saboteur trick

Did you mean the "Atlantic Coast" mission? There are only 3 bonus objectives:
1) Destroy the GDI Construction Yard.
2) Eliminate the GDI Aircraft Carrier.
3) Destroy the Rig before it can reach the Artillery Emplacement.
So is this after or before Kane’s wrath

The graphics of games are futuristics. Very nice!
But the movements are not realistic compared to Command and Counquer Generals Zero Hours. Much better to slower down the movements not abrupt, so that it will be look real and nice to play.
Do the Conyards in Mission 16 *have* to be captured? I'd rather just capture the Scrin base and then wipe out GDI with a red Scrin army.

Oh dear, it seems the opening strategy of Kane's Tower isn't that much different between players isn't it? I remember an old video of another player doing this level which he did almost the same thing as you did, except you'll be hearing "We've got rockets" instead of "The Black hand has arrived." spamming ad infinitum.
I can see these are way different missions, is this an update or what, because I don't see these same missions with my C&C 3

I'm losing my mind over the last on mission on Hard, followed ur instructions for atleast +20 times, still either I dont have enough cash for something and then even though I micro those flame troopers like a god they will lose in 15 mins or so... at best I got bonus objectives done and the far right bottom destroyed, but... fucking GDI had assimilated the alien base, once again
Did you try to destroy the northeastern GDI base with 5 Juggernauts? Ignore the southeastern GDI base. Concentrate your "fire" from Juggernauts to the northeastern GDI base. Why didn't the enemy units or base defenses shoot at your saboteurs in Operation Stiletto?
I love those cheesy solutions to some of the missions, but it would be interesting to see them done in a normal way, too.

they should have kept a grid based design. it looks better for this sort of game. Warcraft 3 at the time had a more freeform terrain but thats a much more organic looking strategy with forests and hills not with urban setting
On last mission 17 (Kains Tower) on Hard seems not possible to win on xbox one x. Since there are double the number of enemy before you even build anything. The xbox build que is also so slow that the second build almost stops sometimes that by the time I have time to build bombers I am overrun by Mammouth Tanks.
Back then when I first played the game it was on xbox 360,and I remember spending hours and hours tryharding NOD last mission,for some reasons the difficulty is through the roof on xbox lol

Played this on xbox 1x with backward compatible on Hard. Was not easy.
Use to be able to play this on PC with Game Pad Controller but with win 10 the PC gamepad program (Pinnacle) not supported anymore in windows 10. Steam controller software is just not that good and just makes the controller work like a slow mouse.

No! he dont kills you, kane needs the Tacitus to travel thru the tower and in that monent in CNC3 He does not have the objetct.
At the end of kanes wrath last mission he achieve the tacitus and use it on legion; with the artifact legion can control the main scrin cpu to use the tower... so thats the real NOD ascention... (so sorry for my bad english)
