That's a very neat looking little tv. It would be nice to have one just as a showpiece but there can't be too many of them around now. Looking forward to seeing a picture on that tube!
thank you great video that put me in the mood to go back to my tv62 and im just hoping that it's not the tube thats the problem with it the picture tube heaters is not come on I just give a small tap on the Tube base and the heater comes on working perfect a great picture was a n.o.s tube so I hope its just the tube base socket thanks again😊
One thing to check on is the condition of the wiring insulation coming down from the rear mounted controls to the time base chassis. The wiring runs very close to the tin foil screening stuck to the inside of the cabinet. Nothing could possibly go wrong there then!
I'll be watching closely. I have a couple of these to restore. I need to look at your earlier TV62 video too. It looks quite a bit more complex than the TV22/TV24!
@ianliston-smith7921 all the way through my childhood we had black and white TVs and in the 80s I was Given a transistorized 26 inch black and white tv that I used all the way through the 90s till it was replaced by a computer monitor. I love black and white TV it's so easy on the eye, would love one again
Thanking you most kindly from English England

I'll be keeping a beady eye on this.. I need a gentle project to follow without having to think too hard! 👍
Interesting, I will be watching closely at this JJ.
the ring around the tube neck is the ion trap Magnet
Picture shift.

How do you get a picture signal into it at 405 lines?
There are a few standards converters available for enthusiasts. I think the Hedghog is the only one available new now.

@@ianliston-smith7921Aurora is still available too, but not too many around these days.
12V at 34mA is 0.4 Watts isn't it? For 4 Watts don't you want 12V at 340mA? Or am I just old and confused? Edit: Great tip about drying it out though.
Yes, a mistake on my part.
