Gotta say your lessons are amazing because their helpful and you are funny. I laughed in the first one where you deleted the circle unintentionally and now i laughed with the plastic bag joke. Great work, man! Thanks for existing, giving joy and spreading knowledge!
Great video as always...clean, quick and to the point. I do have a suggestion for future video... if it's possible. I have been trying to put text to a path, such as a wavy line, but I want the text to remain vertical and not perpendicular to the shape. Is that even possible without using an envelope which is very difficult.
OKAY i have an oval shape, i used the brezier pen to make a path at the bottom of the oval. i write "warrior", select shift both, and the text ends up on the inside of the path. i tried what you tried by flipping vertical, but it didn't work. can you please do a video on how to work with ovals and elliptical shapes and text? thank you

Check to see if you have stroke enabled on the Fill and Stroke menu. If it is active, make sure the color is not set to white. If that's not it, look at the opacity slider to make sure that stroke is not set to full transparency. Hope this helps!
Pac Man! Select the pac man object, and click on create Circles tool. Up in the top menu bar area, look towards the lower right for a circle icon with two dots. Click that, and you'll shut Pac Mans mouth.
Omg THANK YOU I couldn't figure out how to flip the bottom text until I watched this video.

Thanks so much! I love making these!
I do love Inkskape, but that process is so incredibly clunky.
Thanks for the tutorial as I've been battling this seemingly simple task.
You’re right. Should be easier for something so basic.

I don'tknow how you rotated the text, mine just has scaling. I'll have to look that up.

I can’t see my ellipses when I try to put it on the screen. It’s either solid or invisible

I'm getting a pacman looking shape instead of a circle?
