What mfg Engine do you have in your '94 RV. I'm guessing it has a mechanical high pressure fuel pump and no electronics for the fuel injectors which will probably be the reason for the smoke on start up due to low cylinder head temperatures. Our 2003 Newmar diesel pusher has a Cat 3126E has an ECM(Electronic Control Module) which monitors the intake air temperature and adjust the electronically controlled injectors, and it doesn't smoke on start up. But, if that ECM fails it will be expensive to replace/repair and I personally wouldn't mind a little smoke on startup to have a simpler system. Lol. P.S. Our coach has only 53k miles on it. We bought it from the orig owners in 2016. Safe travels. Wooooooo!
