Morgan is genuinely so talented, it’s unreal. I thought he couldn’t get any funnier with just his guitar and now the autotune is another original, hilarious idea. So good
i like this style so much, it's really unique to a lot of traditional stand-up! usually there's an intro, a loose script, set ups in current jokes for later jokes, and whilst i do see hints of the old-school ways, this free-form, go-with-the-flow style i think is really good proof of someone being naturally funny. to some degree, having the script and months of planning help you, although you still need good delivery, but not all comedians can be funny on-the-spot like this!
I think Morgan Jay would be the only comedy show that I would go to due to my severe anxiety. He’s so calm & goofy that my anxiety would be totally okay with 😊
