    This is so amazing to watch! You must be ever so proud of what you accomplished. I cannot wait to have a property of my own and one day have a food forest. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful harvest/hard work.

      Why is it called a food forest and not a garden?

    • @BrittanyDaine
      @BrittanyDaine 7 лет назад +1

      I think because most of it is made up of perennials, including trees, shrubs and herbaceous perennials. Clearly, he does mix his annual vegetables in amongst everything else but that doesn't necessarily take away from the fact that it is largely self-maintaining whereas a garden has to be completely planted anew each year.

    I air dry my Onions, Garlic, Parsley, Thyme, Kale, Collar Greens, and even Cabbage. Then I put them in my food processor to grind them fine and put them into shakers. Labeled "Spaghetti Seasoning", "Soup Seasoning", or whatever I plan on using it for. I also take fresh cut up small and put them into ice cube trays that is also filled up with my tomato or squash soup sauces. Great when you only want to make a couple cups of soup.

    I'm glad I found your channel. You have a lot of Filipino/Asian vegetables in your garden. I love your vegetable garden I was hoping to learn a lot from your channel. Back in the Philippines I used to just pick vegetables from my father's vegetable garden to cook for every meal from his garden to our plate which makes vegetarian diet easy for us.

    I studied before in Mt.CARMEL Bansalan Davao...under Southern Baptist Church Missionary at BOOST but i didn't apply bcoz i dont have land area...now i have but still here working abroad if God give long life i try to do the same...the FAITH gardening...natural farming ...FAITH means FOOD ALWAYS IN THE HOME...bcoz i know in the last days we cannot buy any food if you dont have micro chips so this is the important way to survive by growing your own food which is free from all chemical which we can obtain the safety of our health through the food we produce from our own grown food...thanks for this video bro.😍

    I tend to grow the purple curly kale from seed and I end up picking and eating it all summer into early winter. I love it steamed. Do you ever allow your Courgettes to grow into nice large Marrow's as they store extremely well and are amazing stuffed and baked in the oven. I always add a good sprinkle of grated strong manure cheddar cheese about 5minutes before I take the stuffed marrow out of the oven to serve.
