This is a home match for Kunlun Red Star. The Chinese team that plays in Moscow region. Theyre the lowest supported team in the KHL. SKA home games are usually full. Only a few teams in the league with poor home support.
What is Demidov's status in the Habs org and what is stopping them from activating him and putting them on their active roster? Is it his contract with HC CSKA Moscow?
His contract with SKA (which is a different team then CSKA but often they get mixed together since SKA in Russian would be CKA), means the Habs have to wait until the end of May for his contract to end. The only way that can change is on SKA's side, if they were willing to release him, or not.
In a nutshell, he’s under contract with his potatoe juice league team until this season ends so said potatoe juice league team limits his ice time to hinder his development in hopes that the Montreal canadiens caugh up a large amount of cash to buy him out and bring him over to Canada . Why would a potatoe juice league team do that you might ask ? Because potatoe juice league teams are ran by Putin backed Russian mobsters and Russian mobsters don’t shy away from extorting people . His current coach is the son of a notorious Russian mob boss , owner of the team and part owner of the potatoe juice league .
His ave PP TOI this season is now at :34 per game and he hasn't played more then :02 in any game since they started cutting his ice time down. During 5 on 3 PP's his TOI is 0. The kid could be leading the league in points if he was on PP1 all year.
Well, it's only the Kunlun Red Star the one team that managed to end up even worse than Sotchi & their sad repeat record for goals allowed in a single season last spring, sizes up the grain of salt. BUT STILL !!!!
Before the season started I badly hoped that SKA would send him to the VHL and go with this as the 1st line, V.Romanov I.Demidov S.Demidov so yea I think he can be developed as a center. He played some games at center in the MHL playoffs last year, ruclips.net/video/j5CHAz6t0yM/видео.html ruclips.net/video/uzWsWOutNBs/видео.html ruclips.net/video/Jc5mv9rQpEw/видео.html
@@curtisault2508 He needs to work on the physical side of things like improving lower body strength, 1st step quickness, adding more mass, but as he starts to physically mature you hope they will at least consider him as a center. To have that much skill down the middle would be huge for the rebuild.
@@harryhood1919 I agree with you. Still just a kid in his D+1 year. If he ends up in the top 6 on the wing I won't be disappointed. Hopefully, he will be in Montreal when the KHL season ends.
Shout out to this channel, game just finished and we already have a nice game review.
Absolutely. This channel is doing God's work.
Thanks, I just ask if you like the channel to please click on some of the other vids as I have over 1300 so it helps keeping this channel going.
Demidov is now 3rd in terms of points, tied with Kuznetsov.
He's also 24th in terms of time on ice per game lol.
What a stud.
If they didn't pull him off the 2nd PP unit and start messing with his TOI, he could be leading the KHL in points right now imo.
Hes doing good 😅
He's motivated, certainly builds character, and he seems to be all about that. He'll step right in.
That first pass was just crazy, future's bright!
The backhand breakout pass assist was nastyyyyyy
4 assists for under 6 minutes TOI is insane
This guy can't get to North America fast enough Mtl and Habs fans need him desperately.
idk i d like to but id also like him to arriver with a fresh laine and beck in 2025
Demidov is making a lot of friends in the locker room with his passes.
I didn’t realize he’s playing in front of no crowds. First goal with the Habs at home will shock him

To be fair, that game was in China, not exactly a hockey hot bed.
@@nicko9046 that explains it. Thank you
They would ruin him right now in Montreal ! The way the Habs are playing and being coached!!
definitely
Was wondering if Habs could buy his contract
Not according to Jeff Gorton but we'll see what happens when they go over there to see him.
@@harryhood1919 let's hope

So it is like the mtl Canadian of the KHL ?
Next game he'll be benched.
надо продлевать его в СКА еще года на 3 а потом в Филадельфию к Мичкову пусть едет!
Lol
На 10 лет в ска 😂😂😂
Allegedly, he already refused 3 offers from the SKA ;)
Easy on the Vodka Boris lol
No he's coming to Montreal next season.
Is it me or he plays allot like a center ???

He's a couple years away from that but once he round his game up and get stronger it's a real possibility that he will play at center for the Habs.
