fr, plus turning cards into goblins is such a niche ability that will never be useful in most decks, the damage amplification actually made it usable because the goblin ability alone feels so underwhelming.

@taiwanpinglord While I agree, I think CR should really leverage the illusion of choice. Even if CR gives triple the progress than the season shop did, players complain because they don't feel it as much as the illusion of choosing the wild shard in the season shop.
Idk if they already compensated what was nerfed, but they gotta understand this thing happening no matter if it buffs progression or not will make people come back to the game
@taiwanpinglord no they haven't, the main appeal of season shop is that you have the entire month to earn and get the shards, now you have to grind them near the end of the month in a limited amount of time meaning more people could miss and lose a lot of progress which is what SC wants

The Cycle of Champions made them unique. Now seeing more than one Bandit Leader in the Arena is insane to say the least. I hope they go back on this idea because the game has to be more than just fun, it has to have playability and be fair.

What made a a champion a champion was the added activated ability, which still exists on the latest played champ. The 3 card cycle was never intentional, and if it was, it would be an even worse design decision to do that.

Of course it helps but the Goblin Curse was used just for the damage amplification which is not what it was intended to do, so they removed that aspect and will most likely give it to some other spell that will be added

@ismaelochoa6so before, you can only have one champion on the board at any one time which makes that you are able to cycle back to a desired card in 3 cards. Now, champions are like normal cards which means you have to cycle like normal, which is 4 cards
