Jason and the Scorchers.I have loved this band since the Fervor album(bought it on cassette at a Walmart in Florida,'82?)just based on the band name.Instinctively I knew they would be a great 'rock' band and I was not disappointed. To this day I still love 'em and whenever they manage to get to the UK I'm there!!!
Stirring up great memories from the good old days of the Nashville local scene when Jason and the Scorchers were tearing it up and Warner and Jeff ruled the corner booth at the Gold Rush like the Rat-Pack in Vegas! One of my favorite shows was an early Cats Records show that ended up shutting down West end traffic as Jason climbed up and hung the stars and bars from the Cats Records sign....RIP Frank & Perry. 👃
This series has been great. The Scorchers are great. First time I saw them was at the show at Vandy with TH. My mind was too blown to notice other people booing. It is magnificent.
These interviews are so great....are you guys gonna go deep and hit bands like The Questionaires, and Royal Court of China etc? I'm a NY'er now but, those Nashville shows of the 80's and 90's were just mind-blowing...what a great scene that was. Great memories.
Always great to see stuff with Jason. A bureau county Illinois kid just like me

Great interview! First Jeff and Warner, and now Jason. Looking forward to hearing more from Mr. Ringenberg.
Thanks for doing these interviews. It's great to hear the back story to this criminally underrated band.

Love it! Absolutely love it! PS- Nice shirt, JB!
Great interview! I wish Ken Coomer's brief interlude as drummer had been mentioned.
Nashville had a,great underground scene back in the day...had a blast!
Good to know I wasn’t the only one going to Cantrells on a fake ID
