Hey m8, really like the video! Could you next time show the fx section plz? ALso a tutorial on effects like reverb would be very interesting. I don´t get how the effect works and how to use it correctly. Most times its to harsh or the reverb tail i want to achieve sounds muddy and messes up my mix. Anyways... big up! :)

Double drops has been going since Technics Turntables was in clubs mate !!! easy to do do !!! very simple , what's not easy is mixing records with natural breaks as they off grid !!! you got to use the pitch !!!
To me double drops are just a matter of how well you know your tracks 😊 The real challenge is the pace (tempo) of DnB music and just how much things are happening on the grid compared to other genres. DnB is my love and the reason I started DJing but recently I've begun to play some House just for the sake of learning how to mix properly (since it's way slower and gives you more time to adjust the freqs and colour perfectly). I arrived here from listening to my first mixes and realising just how bad they are simply cuz I wasn't fast enough to blend DnB tracks nicely (unlike Andy C - the man, the legend, and a true influence ❤)

Hey Jamie. I’m using a dvs control with serato and when I try to scratch the track I’m scratching takes a long time to get to it’s bpm like 2 to 3 seconds any idea what it could be?
Mixing was bit off in places but I like that natural feel to DJ set !!! don't sound over quantise !!! but with drum & bass 2 step even , you have to work more with pitch !!! but it was not totally butter smooth , there was few clangs tbh

ummmmm. question crossfader hiw did you buy a dj controller i can't afford cauz im from the phillipines and if you ask that dj carlo atendido has one means i can do it to and if you ask that i can use a dj software.it's hard can't even scratch
A traktor s2mk3 is like 250 euro it costs something and jou have only 2 channels but it will do a great job for one or two years. This guys uses 4 channels, 800 euro, that is cheap for a controller. Traktor works Really good. If you cant scratch you should buy an s2mk3, the panels are not motorised so it will sound a bit digital but if you dont scratch that much it doesnt matter

Ed Reid thanks a lot, big traktor fan, just want to buy it when i know there are no flaws. Ive been using the s5 and have never experienced bugs or anything but all the community now seems to be very incredulous with NI

The art of mixing dnb is double dropping. Thats why dnb is one of the hardest genres to mix. Would like to see neurofunk or jump up dnb mix
Double dropping isn't that hard tho just got to know how to eq tracks so high end and low end are mixed properly
