It will remove armor I think. But you can get armor, which is actually really amazing with warrior if you think about it, you throw out the minion + you have shield blocks in your hand. Could work :3
I can't see why it would remove your armor, since armor isn't specific to warrior or to its hero power. Edit: Some one further down said that Jaraxxus removes all armor. Which doesn't make any sense to me, but if that's the case then yes, this will probably remove all armor, making it bad even for warrior.
thevoxdeus Not sure if you noticed but jaraxxus and ragnaros kind of destroy the Hero. That kind of includes armour. If it didn't remove armour then warriros would rule the world.
They should swap BGH's battlecry with Hemet's battlecry. That way you can only have one "Destroy 7+ minion" in a deck, and it costs a bit more mana to play. Then the "Destroy a beast" battlecry would fittingly cost less mana than destroying a 7+ minion, and would also match BGH's play-sound.
Mykrominer This actualy sounds reasonable from a balance but also from a ehm lets call it imersion perspective. go try to become a blizzard designer :P
Mykrominer Good luck facing giant on turn 4 with your Hemet. Yeah, sometimes BGH kills the fun and stuff, but I fucking need an answer to all this shit, that happens in Hearthstone.
I think Gang Up is a pretty cool card. Why? The problem in HS with building a control deck is that you have to give up some early/mid game cards for late game cards. This means the probability of drawing the cards to deal with aggro is lower. With Gang Up, you can build a deck with a mana curve that is lower than a control deck, pick one of your opponent's late game cards, and draw them out of the deck with prep/sprint/etc. It's a cool idea. Will it work? I have no idea, but I will try because rogue is my most played class by FAR.
to me 2 annyotron + 2 shadoword pain or 2 annyotron + equalitiy/wild pyro-consacration or 2 annyotron + explosive trap or 2 annyotron + hellfire or 2 annyotron + clave etc etc etc are all useful ways to survive the aggro, an annoyotron alone is more then enough to ship you to the turn 4-5 with not fatal damage taken, i don't think control is the best to go strategy, but it stil work indeed.
Quick Shot is incredibly good. Blizzard basically thought 'how could we make the current REALLY POPULAR AND OVERPOWERED hunter decks even better?', and this madness was born. Calling it now, this card will either be nerfed to deal 2 damage or the mana cost will be increased to 3.
TheJackFroster 3 mana won't even fix it. Needs to be "Targets a minion" only. I really can't believe that they are giving Hunters more direct dmg, topped off with card draw. So many gimmick cards in this upcoming expansion, yet no real defensive additions to help ward off aggro.
Majordomo Executus in some Hunter decks could be really good if it's confirmed a fact: it dies, you became Ragnaros and with Steamwheedle Sniper you can choose the targeted minion of the Hero Power, or am I wrong?
If you saw the hearthstone stream at 3/30, where they introduced all of the final blackrock cards, when they put it in the paladin deck, it was actually the last card they drew before going into fatigue.
Emperor Thaurissan, Master of disguise. Next turn Gang up Later, a ton of emporer Thaurissans next turn Leeroy, Gang up Later, Leeroy x3, + cold blood. This card IS the new meta.
mcbomberfly By 'never happen' you mean you're going to run Emperor Thaurissan and Master of Disguise in every deck you make, right? It will happen. I will make it happen.
I would add that Druid of the flame is good against Priests. Because often 2 attack minions tends to get mind controlled. So you got the choice to play it 2/5 until 6 round or 5/2 just to be sure.
he is just useless this way, just a novelty. would be cool if it would be this major risk (go to 8 health) for epic reward, instead its a major risk, for more risk
***** maybe if it was infini-cast? cast as many times as you like for 2 mana? same effect as ragnaros, but multiple times, or if you had the same ability as rag, along with the hero power, so at the end of the turn 8 damage, and when you use the hero power
Makyura43 Remember, Kriipp predicted that every small creature would be bad because every one would counter them easily with Kodos, and that Duplicate would be shit because it would always end up giving up a sheep or a frog (because every one runs 10x poly or hex). It's good to be aware of the ways that cards can be removed, but yea, Kripp has a tendency to over state the effect of specific types of removal. Run enough large creatures and you will over load your opponent's ability to remove them.
thevoxdeus 2x removal 2x BGH + tempo-loss from drawing high-cost creatures into starting hand. Your strategy is not viable and BGH is OP and should be changed.
Makyura43 Yes but the point still stands that you can play 2. Also, 3 removals is a lot. You have to play 4 big creatures for one of them to stickm and you'll get out-tempoed like crazy!
The Force of Nature + Volcanic Lumberer example is wrong. If you play force and trade for 2 minions it only discounts 4 mana since the third treant only dies at the end of the turn and after that point you can't play anything. The only way of doing that is to play force and really trade away all 3 treants and get the discount.
How do you like the idea of Gang Up in a Mill Rogue style deck, so you can both start fatiguing three cards later than your opponent, and you can put more Coldlights in your deck for max mill?
The Treants aren't guaranteed to die until your turn is over, so it's not an automatic 3 mana discount off of Volcanic Lumberer (since you'll have ended the turn).
Double Resurrect can make for some interesting turn 4 plays. You play injured blade master, it either dies or you trade it in and then you play it twice getting 2 4/7's for a total of 4 mana.
Malthael - Angel of Death yeahh good point! guess it would combo well with that spell that removes overload but then thats not exactly reliable is it, Shaman just doesnt seem to stand a chance
hey Kripp, remember when you said Pally was the worst class in GvG in one of your videos ("no more well met? :(")? Do you think Pally went up a lot with BRM? or just a little? and btw what if you alexxtraza yourself as Rag?
Dragon Consort will probably be pretty good in Arena because there aren't THAT many good 5 drops, and 5/5 is like the only 5 mana stat combination that trades favorably with Sludge Belcher.
Is it only me who have been noticing the slight difference in fracing between what Jaraxxus does and what Majordomo does? The Jaraxxus card says it destroys your hero, the Majordomo card does not. What if, when you die as rag, you turn back into your hero?
Though it would be more of a gimmick type deck and don't imagine it would go far in ranked i think Majordomo Executus with an Alextraza combo could be fun, assuming ofcourse you can reset Ragnoros's health to 15 putting you atleast half way back to full health or maybe Tree of Life. It would likely only work in a taunt druid or an ancestral spirit shaman. If you can get it to last a turn before being killed, kill off one of their minions with it have ancestral spirit on it and maybe it dies in a trade well you get Rag and the minion back. But all this requires you to slow the game down and get to the mana you need in the first place which is why i think it will only be viable in a gimmick deck. Also did Kripp skip Lava Shock for the shaman spell or was it in a previous video and i failed to notice it?
Despite what Krip says about cards "not seeing much play", cards like Recombobulator, Unstable portal, Nefarian and the shredder family (which the ladder does see much play) will force these cards into the meta regardless if they are intentionally played or not.
I have a question about Emperor Thaurissan. Will mana cost of cards keep decreasing every turn? For example, I play Emperor Thaurisan and I have consecration in my hand. Next turn it will cost 3 mana. Will it cost 2 mana in the after that?
When you say on Druid of the Flame you can choose between +3 attack or +3 health, I know what you are trying to say but maybe some people could be confused. The difference between that and transform into a minion, its for example that if you silence it, it shouldnt lose its attack/health buff. Hope i am right, if not, just let me know. Keep on the good work Kripp, I really enjoy your videos.
For Priest the whelp has to beat out northshire cleric, not only zombie chow for the 1 slot. If it was a 2/2 gain 2 health for 2 mana it would be the only 2/4 2 mana card and it would be to whelps what the puddle stomper was to murlocks.
Resurrect seems like it has some good synergy with Injured Blade Master (assuming it would come back as a 4/7). You drop it as a 3 drop, they kill it, you Resurrect it as a 4/7 on turn 4 for 2 mana,
Dragon Consort is actually pretty good in arena imo. Since the effect lasts throughout the game, you only really need 1 other dragon to activate its ability. Even if you don't draft any dragons, it's still a 5 mana 5/5.
Majordomo Executus could be usable on a mage deck using ice blocks, freezings and so on. It could be pretty sick, because you basicly dont need that much health with 2 ice blocks and also can play counterspells etc to dodge the fireballs etx
Ben Brode on twitter saying that if you become Ragnaros, you can max your health to 15, even though it starts at 8. So if you can follow the turn with healbot or Alexstraza, (if you survive) it might work.
I wouldn't be surprised if Thaurissan suffered the same fate as Nat Pagle and had his effect moved to the start of your turn instead if this card is played a lot in constructed.
I was thinking the same thing. It simply has to be played to gain immense value. It should have to survive a turn to have the effect or else it's basically the Dr. Boom of BRM.
I think Majordomo Executus will pretty much only see play in Mage Decks where Ice Block and Ice Barrier can give you some level of survivability. Even so, it'll probably be very rare specialization decks only.
As someone whose favorite class is Shaman, Fireguard Destroyer is exactly what we needed. Still wouldn't mind a bit more card draw, I'm a bit jealous that Paladin got Solemn Vigil, but we definitely needed just a good early/mid-game minion that wasn't gimmicky or had a drawback. Between that and Lava Shock, I think we'll be in pretty good shape. Better than we have been, at least.
I thought Volcanic lumberer work with the Naxxaramus druid card, maybe I'm a scrub, since no one play that treant anyway. I just thought you can turn all enemy into treant, and have enough mana to put Volcanic lumberer to wipe the enemy without too much drawback, especially when enemy have 3 minion, so you can still have a 7 damage minion remaining after the trade. It probally still a desperate play. And moonfire is still better most situation, it maybe it work after you turn enemy into treants and starfall, so they all die twice, since dying once is not enough.
someone thought about the combo: -turn 9 drag.consort+something -turn 10 pyromancer equality (u kill 5 or more creatures) chromaggus and free solemn veil ?
We only got to see 1 card of 'dem Shamanz, Rogues, Warriors and Hunters. Also what happened to poor FlameStrikeSpammerino? I am aware of one of mages cards, but i don't know the other, why was it not included? Nice vid as always, bro :)
Emperor Thaurissan's gonna be sweet to help shaman with overload. reduced the cost of lava shock to 1, making lightning storm, lava blast, and feral spirit cost 2 each with 0 overload by just paying 1 more for lava shock
dont play the quests for 40 Gold. Use your "daily change" to try to get a 60-Gold-Quest. But if you have 3 Quests, then you have to do one, of course. But i think you know these simple strategy. but there isnt another one, sorry ;D
The one class which really might be able to make Majordomo work is mage with iceblock. Also, if you can survive the first turn, you can alexstrasza yourself and go up to 15 health instead of 8.
Druid dark seeds might see more constructed play with all the minion death things. More wave clear control Druid with some more spells seems like a good idea.
Big Game Hunter should just be straight out removed from the game, just the fact that it exists prevents awesome, high mana cost, high attack minions from being played.
Louder yay BGH has WAY more value than those cards, because it costs less than most and you get the minion for free. It's also the fact that you can play removal cards AND BGH in the same deck that's really overbearing.
1337 PH4N70M BGH is not better than hex, its vastly worse haha. When the opponent plays sylvanas, ancient of war, or kel thuzad, suddenly BGH isnt so useful. BGH is a tech card, it is meant to hard counter something very very specific, but be a dead card against everything else. Its is just like kezan mystic, black knight and hareson. If warrior was popular enough for everyone to be running harison or ooze then you would have people saying they are OP instead oh BGH. If druid with a bunch of taunts was popular enough that everyone was running black knight you would have everyone calling that OP These cards are designed to be entirely unfair specifically when everyone is doing the same thing. Its a neat little design trick the devs used to make sure the game never becomes entirely dominated by any one style. If there was ever literally nothing but taunt all day druids, everyone runs black knight and suddenly there are less taunt druids. If everyone runs handlock suddenly everyone runs BGH and suddenly there are less handlocks. You see this starting to happen now with kezan becoming more popular with tempo mage and aggro hunter being so popular Thats another way to help put things into perspective. Just as people mention how you need to consider BGH with cards that have over 7 attack, whenever a new secret is released you also need to consider kezan. No matter how good a new secret might be, if kezan is popular at the time its less than worthless
TheJackFroster BGH, while a deterrent, is not the main reason the awesome, higher cost minions don't see very much play; it's the prevalence of aggro that keeps the bigger, slower minions down. Ysera/Sneed's/Rag are great and all, but just getting to turns 8 and 9 is almost an accomplishment in this ladder of Face Hunters and Mech Mages. Actually, I think the best "nerf" to BGH would be to remove Dr. Boom. Before Boom was run in every deck, BGH really wasn't too common unless Handlocks were all over the place.
David Wyatt I find it really strange that so many people still talk about mech mages, its like I am hearing conversations from the past. I havent seen a mech mage in weeks. They just arnt common in the higher ranks, they havent been for ages. There was a period in time where mech mage absolutely dominated the ladder, but all of a sudden they vanished and now they have next to no representation in the upper ranks and legend Face hunter is decently represented though Boom isnt that great in aggro decks and isnt even run in many of them. Face hunter, for example, does not run boom. Boom is a great card and all, but when its the only card in your deck in BGH range its pretty poor, you play it turn 7 and suddenly it gives the opponent a big opportunity for a tempo swing they wouldnt have otherwise had, had you just played some little dudes and hit face Also, dont get your hopes up about boom being removed, thats never happening. Currently blizz is not even considering nerfing "any" cards, let alone removing any. The most you can hope for is later down the line they decide to reduce the damage of the boom bots a bit, that MIGHT happen. Though personally I dont think boom is that insane. At GvG launch we had a massive influx of people using boom, along with a huge number of handlock players. Both of these together meant that everyone was using BGH, even two BGH. However handlock is now not overly common and boom is less and less common. At launch people considered it an auto include in every deck, even sticking it in every aggro hunter, but first the aggro hunters started dropping it, and now more and more finely tuned decks are dropping boom. Its still a really really good card, its just that it isnt the only really good card in the game, not by a long shot. And so the rate of BGHs in peoples decks has gradually been dropping as well. No one runs two BGH anymore, and for many BGH has become an optional slot. Like you said, there is a decent amount of aggro, people like to slot in another taunt or another heal, or maybe a kezan
It's hard to tell, with Naxx everyone knows what cards are good and bad; but with Blackrock everyone is just speculating what cards are good, no one can really know tell you play them.
I play my own(it's kinda cheap and i needed luck to draw certain cards from packs) version of the demon lock and it's quite good even now.I will totally get a demonwrath into my deck.
Onyxia battlecry is now really interesting as it adds a bunch of creatures you can suicide to get those cards that cost less as minions die that turn. Against a fast deck as a control deck, playing onyxia, their inability to clear it could just hand you the victory. Also, I think a way to fix BGH is to make it a decent card to play naked, without having to kill a 7 attack minion. The problem I see is that BGH gains way too much tempo. It should be a 3 Mana 4/3, but when its battlecry is activated, it loses 3 attack and becomes a 3 mana 1/3. This provides incentive to play the card without having to necessarily kill a 7 attack minion, and once you actually do, the tempo gain isn't much because the minion poses no real threat. Though the stats aren't final, I think Blizz should play around with this mechanic.
So what happens if you Alexstrassa a Ragna-hero? Will it jump to 15? Ice block and/or Ice barrier could give it more life. What exactly happens to secrets if you replace your hero? Do they stick?
Revenge fits decently into a very aggressive warrior deck like the weapon based deck. Clearing out a bunch of minions to be able to connect with your weapon is actually quite decent.
Majordomo Executus is the secret counter to Sylvanas. Force the opponent to cap at 8 health for ultimate value.
u kinda blew my mind

if both blasts hit 1 health minions it did 2 damage :/
C'mon Kripparino, you didn't think about the amazing Gang Up synergy in Mill Rogue?
im searching for really good ideas in the comments.

Couldn't they just make The Ragnaros Hero Power a 0 mana (*always activates at the end of turn*) thing like some of the Bosses in Naxx? Would be better IMO because you aren't paying 2 Mana every turn.
Hunter Geerts
or it could be a chosen cast for 0 mana. I don't think that would be overpowered because you have 8 health.
SBroproductions actually it would activate at the beginning of your turn.
But you can kill some 1hp minions first and not waste the other 7dmg
Executus sucks major ass because you could just play Rag instead, get the effect for free and still keep your hero power
Madness Overload Or you can play Executus Turn 9, then Turn 10 play the real Rag and trade Executus into something to become Rag. 2, 8 damage fireballs flying around.

With there being 'Druid of the Flame', shouldnt they rework 'Magma Rager'?
While I agree that Magma Rager is functionally useless and could use a rework, class cards have always been better than the neutrals so it isn't really necessary.
No because class cards can be a little bit better than neutral cards with the same 'style'. Like voidwalker is better than goldshire footman.
Class cards are supposed to be better versions of their neutral card counterparts. A great example is animal companion: huffer is wolfrider, misha is ironfur grizzly, leokk is raid leader.
Yes I understand that class cards are better but by how much exactly? the choice between the 2-5 and 5-2 and a 5-1 is HUGE. Magma Rager is already useless anyways
TheMercilessMerc There's a distinction between "better" and "so much better it's not even funny".
Resurrect+ Kel'Thuzad is pretty good. But the Shaman combo wombo is better.

can you explain me why you think that would be good combo?! O.o
Buchse123 Free Kel'Thuzad is always good.

thats a good explanation. thank you. i think it is a shitty combo which wont see much play.
but i got the clue of the idea. thank you =)
(This post was edited)
I was just naming off a tactic that seems fun to use. Not that it will be a thing.
Buchse123 Because it's obviously a good idea to play no minions until turn 8 so that you can guarantee Kel'Thuzad is revived by Resurrect, then you play Kel'Thuzard on turn 8 and hope it survives your opponent's turn so that you can kill it on your own turn so you can cast Resurrect and have the new Kel'Thuzad revive the first one.
Or I guess you could play a bunch of random, fairly valuable minions and by turn 8 have about a 10% chance of actually reviving Kel'Thuzad, but at that point Kel'Thuzad isn't going to revive himself even if you do Resurrect him so it's not really a combo... so not sure where OP was really going with it.
Thaurissan would be good in a ramp druid. ForceRoad for 7 mana , all the ancients for 6 mana... HELL YEAH!
***** Maybe. Thaurissan + malygos = ???
***** OMG CANT WAIT TO TRY IT
Tyrael That card's gonna be good in basically ANY deck. It's gonna be Blackrock's Dr. Boom.
Tyrael It reduces cost every turn so if a druid innervates that and has some good shit in hand game is fucking over..
Tyrael Just what we need in the current FoN/Roar saturation...something that let's it wreck you even sooner....
Executus is just cool but not too much efficient. The Emperor Thaurissan is my favourite, CONTROL WINS with this adventure!!

I wonder if replacing your hero with Rag also removes all your armor.
Warrior buff?
It will remove armor I think. But you can get armor, which is actually really amazing with warrior if you think about it, you throw out the minion + you have shield blocks in your hand. Could work :3
***** Yeah, it probably works just like Jaraxxus. Shield Blocks and Shield Maidens would certainly help out, but it's still incredibly risky.
Lord Jaraxxus removes your armor so I assume Ragnaros will also remove your armor.
Chromaggus works with warlock life tap
I've only just noticed the sword through the attack value on each card. Wow. I've played for over a year as well. Has that always been there!?
Kripp, what do you think would happen if blizzard removed BGH from the game outright. No change just he doesn't exist anymore.
Then Fel Reaver aggro decks would rule the world!
***** Run recycle and naturalise then lol
Calling it now, this card will either be nerfed to deal 2 damage or the mana cost will be increased to 3.
watch out man, with that much salt you could get a heart attack
TheJackFroster 3 mana won't even fix it. Needs to be "Targets a minion" only. I really can't believe that they are giving Hunters more direct dmg, topped off with card draw. So many gimmick cards in this upcoming expansion, yet no real defensive additions to help ward off aggro.
Ikr the only ways ive seen to slow the meta a bit is the rogue board clear weve seen and the warlock 3 mana deal 2 to all non demons.
Majordomo Executus in some Hunter decks could be really good if it's confirmed a fact: it dies, you became Ragnaros and with Steamwheedle Sniper you can choose the targeted minion of the Hero Power, or am I wrong?
Quick Shot is going to completely skew this oncoming slow meta in favor of Face Hunter.
If you saw the hearthstone stream at 3/30, where they introduced all of the final blackrock cards, when they put it in the paladin deck, it was actually the last card they drew before going into fatigue.
Emperor Thaurissan is I N S A N E. That card is gonna be like 1000x more outrageous than Dr. Balanced
Especially if you can stealth it...
Emperor Thaurissan, Master of disguise.
Next turn
Gang up
Later, a ton of emporer Thaurissans
next turn
Leeroy, Gang up
Later, Leeroy x3, + cold blood.
This card IS the new meta.
NorthWind Studios that will never happen
mcbomberfly By 'never happen' you mean you're going to run Emperor Thaurissan and Master of Disguise in every deck you make, right?
It will happen.
I will make it happen.
NorthWind Studios nop
I would add that Druid of the flame is good against Priests. Because often 2 attack minions tends to get mind controlled. So you got the choice to play it 2/5 until 6 round or 5/2 just to be sure.
the rag hero power should not be random should be 2 mana 8 damage targeted
Wouldnt really fit with what Rag actually does as a minion. But I agree that it's a bit weak.
but then he isn't rag...
If it was a 0 mana auto trigger than I would be okay, imo.
he is just useless this way, just a novelty. would be cool if it would be this major risk (go to 8 health) for epic reward, instead its a major risk, for more risk
***** maybe if it was infini-cast? cast as many times as you like for 2 mana? same effect as ragnaros, but multiple times, or if you had the same ability as rag, along with the hero power, so at the end of the turn 8 damage, and when you use the hero power
Resurrect ftw! Mom! Get the camera!
Randuin wrynn is excited for resurrected. The MC techs and mad bombers have already prepared a bunk for him
Judging from kripp videos one would think each deck runs 10 big game hunters.
He's whining quite a lot at it.
1337 PH4N70M
1 BGH per deck is played currently.
Pretty sure in that exemple he was talking about clearing like a 5/4 and a 3/2, which would kill the three trees and the 2 enemy minions.
That Chromaggus shit is OP as shit.
Well there has to be op card, your paying alot to get them
Yeah... I can't wait to try that out in a miracle rogue. :D
With the warlock hero power
adsy G E R Chromaggus is strong. It's Thaurissian that's OP as shit.
It also can't be BGHed
How do you like the idea of Gang Up in a Mill Rogue style deck, so you can both start fatiguing three cards later than your opponent, and you can put more Coldlights in your deck for max mill?
Bgh my own guy just to be ragnaros
That would be interesting
or well, just play rag?
HOLY SHIT. THIS IS THE NEW RAG THAT CANT GET HIT BY BGH!
The Treants aren't guaranteed to die until your turn is over, so it's not an automatic 3 mana discount off of Volcanic Lumberer (since you'll have ended the turn).
Gang up on Malorne, gg.
Double Resurrect can make for some interesting turn 4 plays. You play injured blade master, it either dies or you trade it in and then you play it twice getting 2 4/7's for a total of 4 mana.
I wanna be ragnaros so bad
Glad to see Krip is on this before anyone else, nice review man
im gay for kripp no one will see this :P
i did :/
DansGame
Would a sharman card which said "draw a card for every overloaded mana crystal" be good? or too OP?
Malthael - Angel of Death yeahh good point! guess it would combo well with that spell that removes overload but then thats not exactly reliable is it, Shaman just doesnt seem to stand a chance
On dragon consort: I'm really excited to have a good excuse to play azure drake in paladin considering how much a one sided hellfire can do.
hey Kripp, remember when you said Pally was the worst class in GvG in one of your videos ("no more well met?
Really enjoyed this review. Thanks for the post!
W/ the Majordomo Executus, does armor remain the same? Feels like Control Warrior could use that card if it does.
Is it only me who have been noticing the slight difference in fracing between what Jaraxxus does and what Majordomo does? The Jaraxxus card says it destroys your hero, the Majordomo card does not. What if, when you die as rag, you turn back into your hero?
shouldn't volcanic lumberer work wih poison seeds?
I think majordomo Executus might be played in a warrior deck with a lot of cards that give armor, giants and maybe the new common
Volcanic Lumberer also works with Poison Seeds/Starfall combo
"I dunno, fuck it"- Kripp's best word of advice in years.
Despite what Krip says about cards "not seeing much play", cards like Recombobulator, Unstable portal, Nefarian and the shredder family (which the ladder does see much play) will force these cards into the meta regardless if they are intentionally played or not.
Neutral....first thought..... Will Devine spirit work after executus because it better rag is a minion bgh in every deck meta?
I have a question about Emperor Thaurissan. Will mana cost of cards keep decreasing every turn? For example, I play Emperor Thaurisan and I have consecration in my hand. Next turn it will cost 3 mana. Will it cost 2 mana in the after that?
When you say on Druid of the Flame you can choose between +3 attack or +3 health, I know what you are trying to say but maybe some people could be confused. The difference between that and transform into a minion, its for example that if you silence it, it shouldnt lose its attack/health buff. Hope i am right, if not, just let me know.
Keep on the good work Kripp, I really enjoy your videos.
you are right. but its obvious, too. =)
Imagine if you have chromaggus on board then your opponent plays iron juggernaut, would that mean that the mine is drawn and blows up twice in a row?
Gang up, Dr.Balance. Balance intensifies.
Majordomo Executus could be usable on a mage deck using ice blocks, freezings and so on. It could be pretty sick, because you basicly dont need that much health with 2 ice blocks and also can play counterspells etc to dodge the fireballs etx
Did you tought about a combot with majordome executus and alexstrasza ?
You probably wont live till then
Quick shot would be pretty cool if you could only target minions with it. Control needs some love.
Ben Brode on twitter saying that if you become Ragnaros, you can max your health to 15, even though it starts at 8. So if you can follow the turn with healbot or Alexstraza, (if you survive) it might work.
Actually at the match on stream they put healbot on the board while the hero was Rag... and it had still 8 health. BUSTED
Resurrect sounds sweet with injured blademaster or dark cultist as the low end of the curve in a slower deck.
Boom of BRM.
kripp, do you think steamwheedle sniper would work with ragnaros' hero power?
Does the effect of the rag transformation removes armor? When not you could try this im warrior
Hey kripp,
As a relatively new player is it better to buy packs as soon you have 100 gold or wait till you can afford to play arena?
I thought Volcanic lumberer work with the Naxxaramus druid card, maybe I'm a scrub, since no one play that treant anyway. I just thought you can turn all enemy into treant, and have enough mana to put Volcanic lumberer to wipe the enemy without too much drawback, especially when enemy have 3 minion, so you can still have a 7 damage minion remaining after the trade. It probally still a desperate play. And moonfire is still better most situation, it maybe it work after you turn enemy into treants and starfall, so they all die twice, since dying once is not enough.
"There's an option for him to get Quick Shot into Quick Shot into Kill Command Hero Power and then you'd completely lose your shit." I spit milk.
what would happen if your hero has 3 hp, Majordormo has 3 hp and opponent use the cobrashot?
Downside to Chronomagnus: What if the opponent played Iron Juggernaut and you drew the mine? Would it double and do 20 damage?
someone thought about the combo:
-turn 9 drag.consort+something
-turn 10 pyromancer equality (u kill 5 or more creatures) chromaggus and free solemn veil
?
We only got to see 1 card of 'dem Shamanz, Rogues, Warriors and Hunters. Also what happened to poor FlameStrikeSpammerino? I am aware of one of mages cards, but i don't know the other, why was it not included?
Nice vid as always, bro :)
Emperor Thaurissan's gonna be sweet to help shaman with overload. reduced the cost of lava shock to 1, making lightning storm, lava blast, and feral spirit cost 2 each with 0 overload by just paying 1 more for lava shock
Does anybody knows the legendaries you get from the 1st 2 wings? Because I only have 1800 Gold.
Also any Gold Farming tip?
dont play the quests for 40 Gold. Use your "daily change" to try to get a 60-Gold-Quest. But if you have 3 Quests, then you have to do one, of course.
But i think you know these simple strategy. but there isnt another one, sorry ;D
Are all these cards automatically received when you beat the wings like naxx? Also are they soul bound
The one class which really might be able to make Majordomo work is mage with iceblock. Also, if you can survive the first turn, you can alexstrasza yourself and go up to 15 health instead of 8.
It is worth mentioning that both minions that Druid of the Flame can turn into are beasts, allowing for more Druid of the Fang synergy
Druid dark seeds might see more constructed play with all the minion death things. More wave clear control Druid with some more spells seems like a good idea.
Big Game Hunter should just be straight out removed from the game, just the fact that it exists prevents awesome, high mana cost, high attack minions from being played.
In that case you have to get rid of cards like polymorph and hex aswell.
If druid with a bunch of taunts was popular enough that everyone was running black knight you would have everyone calling that OP
These cards are designed to be entirely unfair specifically when everyone is doing the same thing. You see this starting to happen now with kezan becoming more popular with tempo mage and aggro hunter being so popular
Thats another way to help put things into perspective.
David Wyatt
I find it really strange that so many people still talk about mech mages, its like I am hearing conversations from the past. I havent seen a mech mage in weeks. They just arnt common in the higher ranks, they havent been for ages. There was a period in time where mech mage absolutely dominated the ladder, but all of a sudden they vanished and now they have next to no representation in the upper ranks and legend
Face hunter is decently represented though
Boom isnt that great in aggro decks and isnt even run in many of them. Face hunter, for example, does not run boom. Boom is a great card and all, but when its the only card in your deck in BGH range its pretty poor, you play it turn 7 and suddenly it gives the opponent a big opportunity for a tempo swing they wouldnt have otherwise had, had you just played some little dudes and hit face
Also, dont get your hopes up about boom being removed, thats never happening.
Hey I have a very essential question, ¿what adventure should I buy?, I can only buy one and i cant decide between naxx and blackrock
Sebastian Zabala Naxx probably has more strong cards overall, but if I were you I would get Blackrock just because it's new and interesting.
It's hard to tell, with Naxx everyone knows what cards are good and bad; but with Blackrock everyone is just speculating what cards are good, no one can really know tell you play them.
Real question, if you can bgh rag, Can't you buff it? like priest +1 hp buffs etc?
Also demonwrath can be combo'd with darkscale? to deal 2 damage and then heal it right back only to you
hey guys, do you think that miracle rogue will comback with that legendary cost 6 Thaurissan anything like this?
You forgot Rend Blackhand and Nefarian as far as Legendaries. Would like to hear your opinion on them.
So what happens if you Alexstrassa a Ragna-hero? Will it jump to 15? Ice block and/or Ice barrier could give it more life. What exactly happens to secrets if you replace your hero? Do they stick?
The reason of that paladin dragon card. its because malygos + (priest, warlock, etc spells)
Krip you forgot to mention that Druid of the flame transforms are also beasts so it got synergy with Druid of the fang.
Revenge fits decently into a very aggressive warrior deck like the weapon based deck. Clearing out a bunch of minions to be able to connect with your weapon is actually quite decent.
