  • Stuck at home, because of the snow? Are your littles already bored of their new Christmas toys? It's amazing to see a 3 year old get so excited during Christmas when he opens up the Paw Patrol Marshall Fire Truck that cost close to $50.....only for it to sit next to the neglected Paw Patroller from last year a few days later. However, my littles played with these beaded snakes for a days! They had fun making the snakes AND playing with them. I only helped them hot glue the eyes on and secure the end.
Today's craft focuses on building fine motor skills. Adding beads to the pipe cleaning one-by-one builds the cognitive skill of hand-eye coordination. If your little can get a head start on fine motor, and hand-eye coordination skills, then writing will come a little easier for them in kindergarten. Building these skills will help strengthen the wrists, hands, and fingers.
About this craft: You will need a Hot Glue Gun! This is the one I use for all the crafts. It came with 15 glue sticks and it has an On/Off switch!

Everything else I bought at the Dollar Tree. You don't need to spend a lot of money on these crafts. Bring your littles to the Dollar Tree with you and have them pick out the supplies. This is half the fun!
Enjoy the video and have fun with your littles!
