Kyrie was there for a HUGE CHUNK of leading Boston to that #2 seed last year & was there while Brown Tatum & Rozier excelled as players last year..... Oh wait I forgot Brad Stevens got ALL the credit last year & now when things was going south let's blame Kyrie instead of Brad Stevens (who EVERYONE called the leader last year)

    • @TaeRokk11B
      @TaeRokk11B 5 лет назад +2

      Brad Stevens had IT which is 5'9 in the top 5 voting in mvp with the number the number 1 seed and only switched point guards and still maintain that top 1-2 seed. So yeah kyrie takes the bulk of that, so don't blame the coach when your guy if falling short but wanna crown him when he's winning yet it's a team sport.

Bottom line is Brad Stevens is a great coach UNTIL his team underachieve then it's the players fault not Brad Stevens what kind of logic is that...... Kyrie playing the best basketball of his career offensively & DEFENSIVELY while the other players under perform & somehow that's Kyrie fault 🤔🤔🤔 I guess we give Brad Stevens the credit for Kyrie playing great but we blame Kyrie for the other players underachieving 😂🤣😂

    • @22BCMF
      @22BCMF 5 лет назад

      Tonio5100 well it was a thing in Cleveland that games without lebron, the Cavs floundered, yet without Kyrie brad was way overachieving across the board, so now when last year they were a top 2 seed when they were without gordan hayward for the whole season and eastern conference runner up without Hayward or Kyrie, it’s tough to point the finger at brad, but when Kyrie is an iso player in a team system and the system is struggling, it’s easy to point the finger at Kyrie, I don’t think it’s his fault (more Tatum plateauing and trying to get Hayward back in the swing of things), but part of that falls on Kyrie, and we hold every other all time great to that standard, so we need to with Kyrie too

People have been shitting on Lebron for being a "bad teammate" by trolls for years now just because some people don't want to play with him. Some dudes just want numbers and stats. Lebron wants championships. It ain't for everyone. I just never understood criticizing Lebron for wanting to be great.

    The Celtics were better bc the East was easier. They went seven games with the the Bucks who had no coach. They basically beat the 76s by freezing out Simmons and doubling Embiid. It took them 7 games to beat Bron by himself basically and we're supposed to believe they stood a chance against the Warriors. Ok. They wouldn't even stand a chance against the Raps w/o Kyrie. First off: Kyrie will stay in Boston. Remember this comment.
      Second: Boston counters with Brown, Horford, Rozier, Kings 2019 1st, Clippers 2019 1st, Grizzlies 2019 1st, 2020 Celtics 1st (If you seriously believe LAL beats that trade you're lost)

      NEW YORK and you’re what? A Knicks fan? If the mess you’re referring to is a team that has yet to remain consistent in being elite, then I would like to point you to New York teams that clearly have worse situations. In Boston the issue is “they have too much talent”. I prefer that over an actual dumpster fire organization. Either it’s the Knicks who haven’t been actually good since Patrick Ewing played, or it’s the Nets who are finally recovering from the absolute obliteration of a trade that made the Nets suck for 5 years. I’ll take Ainge, Stevens, and Irving on my team ANY DAY.

    The young Celts were statistically better but were they "better?" It is their obligation to the organizational structure of the team to adjust their games a bit and follow the lead of their star player. That is how they will grow and develop as players. If you need proof of the effectiveness that model affords look at GSW.

    Kyrie's favorite player is Kobe and he also shapes his mindset around the whole mamba mentality. But what I'm saying is that this reminds me of the Kobe Situation. Kobe had something great in LA with the Lakers and won championships but since he did that with Shaq, people had Shaq take most of the credit and Kobe didn't like this and practically wanted to be the Leader / Main Main of the team. But after Shaq left, he thought of leaving the Lakers and started to regret everything because it got kinda hard. Kyrie reminds me of this because he and Bron something great in Cleveland but Kyrie wanted to be the Leader so he left and now is starting to regret it all. But hopefully he goes to the Lakers and can really "be like Kobe" but if not, I wanna see him succeed in Boston and maybe even see the Lakers & Celtics in the Finals again.

      @@Nooneshouldknowme because the spurs were much less talented than other teams, i used to hate the spurs but i came to respect them and now they are my favorite team. strange how that happens. they still stole at least one championship from the lakers and the heat I think. That 2014 spurs team was the greatest example of how teamwork beats talent imo. Kobe was a good leader in his later years i think that his only problem in those years is that he thinks everybody needs the stick. some need the carrot some need the stick if you catch my drift. Im very competitive and i have a pretty good clutch gene. but if the leader of my team talks down to me i will not play optimally. but if he encourages me i will play my a plus game.
