Was für ein Zirkus!" - Und dann in die leuchtenden Augen des Knirpses gucken, der sich einfach nur freut an der riesigen Bandbreite von Dingen, die man gleichzeitig in Betrieb setzen kann. This was exceptional. I think the final chord in the upper register was unnecessary as this is something Liszt not his pupils did from accounts but this was amazing. I am amazed by how you stay in tempo and make this seem effortless
Cziffra's is my least favourite. This interpretation and Valentina Lisitza's are my favourites. I apologise if Valentina's isn't one you like, but, at least we have a mutual love of this version here 🎶💙💜
I used to love listening to your performance of this wonderful work but Google have destroyed that pleasure with their intolerable ads. Ditto so many other performances on RUclips that Google have demeaned in this manner. Terrible shame.
