I think the shuffle action doesn’t reset the remaining draw deck, it just reshuffle the discard pile and add to the bottom of the draw deck. This means there’s no avoiding any of the threat cards.
Thanks for the amazing (as always) video, @Rahdo! We got this yesterday and loved it. One quick rules note: you cannot explore tiles that have something on them; in other words, you must remove all Eggs, Hatchlings, Adults, and Webs before exploring (flipping a tile).
during the game Rahdo turns revealed locations so that the name is on the bottom thereby changing the orientation of the card. Is there any rule about how to flip and oriënt the cards when exploring?
yup the rules explicitly say to make this rotation after the cards are flipped. so the travel paths for the aliens will change over the course of the game :)
One quick note (feel free to delete this once fixed rather than posting it) - Not seeing any Klingon subtitles for the main runthrough video. The Extended seems fine though.
that's so weird. i just checked and the klingon subs were listed as published, but i didn't see them on the video (same as you). so i went in to the subtitle editor and confirmed that yeah, they were there, and then when i came out to the video again, they showed up this time. weird!
there's no real story to follow. no named characters or plot events. the four games are very loosely tied together with a conceit that the same group of adventurers keep getting stuck in a bigger mess from game to game, but each title is totally stand-alone :)
@@rahdo Got it. I was mostly making a joke about Forbidden Stars from FFG being a part of the series (making it the only game in the line at in the Warhammer 40K universe).

it was already noted in the Klingon subtitles along with a few other goofs that you didn't report, so you might have missed them! :)
So excited for this one!!
These naughty pawns, we should forbid them from going to a spa for a safe relaxing day off.
This looks great! Thanks for the videos!
Looks amazing!
it is :)
Seems like they went back to a hybrid design of island and desert.
yup that's exactly what i mentioned in the final thoughts :)
You revealed 4 threat cards after your first turn!! I think that definitely made things more troublesome!
counting does help! :)

@rahdo Weird. Looking good on my end now!
Is there a release date ?
i believe it's already available for online purchase and is showing up in game stores too :)
@@rahdo thank you
Will I be able to follow the story if I skipped Forbidden Stars?
