You cannot know that God is calling you to go to a certain place as a missionary just by reading the Bible. There are many things in life that God may wish us to do or to redirect us, but which reading the Bible will never give that kind of guidance. None of this kind of guidance should ever be contradictory to God’s laws in the Bible though.
@@supersmart671 if you are reasonably smart you can work that out. Of course nowhere in the Bible does it use my name with an instruction where I should serve. Why are you questioning that obvious fact. But I know from the many examples in the Bible and from personal experiences that God guides me this way. An audible whisper 20 years ago directed me to change my job and resulted in my involvements in several ministries today- things I had not previously thought of and included further study which I previously felt very negative about.
Read Paul on the subject of prophecy. Also ask yourself why in the OT you find schools of prophecy? If you are anointed, why would you need a school or teacher? Not so simple as many Christian purists teach today. We see through a glass darkly. And all that is prophesized must be tested.

Great for selling books and weekend seminars, but nothing for sanctification. Go read Charles Spurgeon’s sermon titled The Paracleat, towards the end you will get a flavor of this notion that he encountered. Nothing new under the sun. How many are in their backyard trying to divide the water in their pool in half or walking on top of the water in the pool?? Somethings in the Bible are simply descriptive and not prescriptive.
