- Here are my four most requested sports designs--a basketball, a baseball, a soccer ball, and a football--and four sure-fire techniques to give them extra punch and flare. These designs are ideal for cheek art but can be used anywhere you like!

Hi TeacherMommy, I love how you put it, I am not a sports person, it is so true that we end up helping people express things we don't feel! I am glad you joined the channel.

Tanks for sharing your talent
Awesome video!!!
Laura you have thought me so much but the best thing I take from this is to really use the imagination and go back to my childhood so thank you for all of your beautiful creations . Question for you have you ever had to say sorry to a child that has asked for something you have never done before we do get a lot of funny things asked of us xx
Hey Linda, the only time I apologize to a child is for a mistake or misunderstanding. I can get a certain color on my brush, and it turns into a peacock when they had asked for a butterfly--yikes! or sometimes a word will mean two different things (like 'viking'; we were well into a opera singer style paint when I realized he wanted a sports design!). With cell phones around, painting something I have never done just means I need a picture. I am open that I haven't done it before though, so they know I am only going to try my best.
whats the number of the brushes you use? Love the videos.😍
Your amazing. I hope I can ba as good as you someday.
Thanks! We all yearn to progress! don't get discouraged along the way- that is the trick!
Where can I get the HAS 5061 stencil? I searched and nothing came up. Thanks
It is one of a set of the Bad Ass stencils- here are a few options- I don't see the set that contains the one, but at least I hope this gets you closer. I know silly farm has a great customer service dept. If you call they might know. sillyfarm.com/collections/half-ass-stencils
I was trying to work out Which brush you use to paint the flames. Is it a filbert?
I LOVE all the creative ideas. 9 years of painting gives plenty of time to get the design down and come up with super cool ideas to keep things fresh for you too. Seriously, I can hardly wait till I have that type of experience under my belt. ❤
I do have a question...tried to use starblends today on a snowflake stencil and I got so much powder on the little girl and the snowflake didn't even turn out. 😅 starblend fail! Have any insight on this?
Love to share some thoughts, was it going onto clean skin- or did you have paint down? Starblends struggles to hold definition by itself. If you sponge paint on first, let it dry and then put the stencil overtop that works great. If you did that, and it is still not working, you may not be holding the stencil still or flat against the skin, and powder will make a mess. I often tell kids I am going to push and I need them to push back- it helps me- and I look for their skin to poke through a little. Kind of makes a seal to protect the rest of the design.
@@fairyfox there was paint underneath. Maybe I had too much powder on my applicator 😕🤷♀️ I really loaded it up. Still figuring Starblends out since I don't use them often. Thanks for the tips Laura!!! 😊🙏
Hi. Are they brushed or paint pens you used for the outline of the white face? Where do you purchase?
How long does it take you to do these designs at events?
I really needed this! What is that black plastic piece with a white sponge on the end called? I saw u use it on ur snowman as well and it looks like it might make things easier for me.
Lulu, it is a wolfe product, sold as a wolf novelties. You can buy them direct on their website. www.wolfefx.com/makeup-sponge-applicators/
