Loved how almost every time Orlok was shown the shot was angled up a bit so that his presence looked even more menacing and towering wherever he was. Definitely agree with it being a 9/10, also have it under the VVitch but I must say I liked it more than the Lighthouse.

Loved the technical wizardry and atmosphere of this film, all the camera moves seemed so well thought out

"You don't belong with the living," Orlok tells her in German at the beginning of the film. This brief introduction reveals the entire conclusion: she has made a pact with Orlok, sealing her fate to be with him forever. "I've never been so happy," she declares. From the very start, she has been like the living dead, merely waiting for Orlok to fulfill their union. What a beautiful poetic film, with Orlok looking like the decayed Vlad, the Impaler.

Hey man love the vids. Only 5 minutes into the video but I thought I’d have to comment on your first point. I’m British and I’m astounded that the US cinema experience is so unpleasant, 99% of the time in the UK everyone is completely silent and just watches the film. The only exception of this I’ve witnessed was perhaps Avengers Endgame but that was a special occasion so I guess it’s more organised for people to be more excited so in turn be more verbal (mostly teenage girls being annoying)
