Nice video and great fishing! I found it interesting that you put your heavier fly above your midge. Does this usually work? A rule in euro nymphing is to go from light to heavy (heaviest fly on the bottom), so your line can stay straight in the water.
Nikolai Russev Thanks! I have found that this method works pretty well for me. Imagine the anchor fly sinking to the bottom and the midge just floating freely behind it. It only really works in consistent currents.
@@BackwaterFilms You can also try tying the second fly with surgeon knot - the classic euro nymphing rig. You will achieve the same thing, but you can fish consistently any water. I always fish this way and never had problems. Good luck! :)
It is so relaxing to be by these streams with you on such a lovely day, good job!
Pap Pap would be so proud of you, remember that fishing case full of things from PAP!
Looks like a great day on the water. Stream was beautiful, and had plenty of good water it seemed. Keep up the good work!
Tight Lining MD Thank you! Was one of the more beautiful streams I’ve found in this area.
I am new to fly fishing and trying to find more streams. Where was this at?

Nikolai Russev I’ll have to try that, thanks!
Was that the broadhead?
I like the Brodhead also, but it's not a tailwater.
