It has been exactly a year since I noticed the tinnitus one night when I went to use the bathroom. I freaked out and was crying days later when it didn't go away. I did research, and sound therapy and was extremely depressed. It was the worst 6 months of my life because I thought I would never hear normal again. BUT I WAS WRONG. IT STARTED GETTING BETTER AND I STARTED TO STOP THINKING ABOUT IT ALL DAY. IT DOES GO AWAY NOT 100% BUT TO A POINT THAT YOU FORGET ABOUT IT AND IT DOESN'T BOTHER YOU ANYMORE. I WAS CRYING AT WORK LAST MAY SCHEDULING EAR EXAMS AND THINKING I HAD A TUMOR. TGIS YEAR I GOT A PROMOTION AT WORK, IM HAPPY AGAIN I CAN SLEEP WITHOUT THE TV OR FAN. IT TOOK TIME BUT IT WILL BECOME BACKGROUND NOISE AGAIN. YOU WILL MOVE ON AND IT WILL GET BETTER. I PROMISE YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART THERE IS HOPE. IF I GOT THROUGH A PERIOD WHERE ALL I THOUGHT ABOUT WAS THE RINGING AND I WQS DO SAD AND HOPELESS TO 1 YEWR LATER WHERE I CANT EVEN REMEMBER THAT GUY LAST YEAR, YOU WILL TOO. YOU WILL GET PASS THE TINNITUS. ACCEPT IT, MOVE ON AND ITS OK IF YOU HEAR IT, JUST TRY TO NOT THINK ABOUT IT. KEEP YOUR MIND BUSY WITH OTHER THINGS.

Thank you so much for this information. I'm aprox. 2 months into my Tinnitus journey, and even though I have moments when I feel despair, and it really gets to me, I can honestly say that I feel better today than in the beginning. The first couple of weeks were horrid, and I really questioned if I was going to be able to live with the constant sound in my head. It felt as I couldn't focus on anyting else and that I were going crazy. Now, I choose to belive that I have taken some small steps on the road to habituation, and I hope that I will someday reach step 4!

I'm finding advice ,,stop researching tinnitus" as disturbing. All TRT provuders say it. Taking into consideration fact, that it is very possible, that Syzan Shore's device will give us tremendous relief, these comments might be directed to avoid TRT downfall. If simthing will reduce tinnitus loudness physically, TRT will be forgotten at once. I'm talking this as a TRT patient with 1 year experience.

Hi yasin, thank you for asking. This device could help. It depends on more information that we do not yet know about your history. At Treble Health, we offer free consultations via telehealth. We are accepting new patients and would gladly consider you as a new client. Feel free to contact our team at Treble Health to sign up for an appointment.

Punishingly long explanation of habituation which implies you just get used to tinnitus. Ironically, the best advice was on the very last chart where it states, "Stop reading or researching tinnitus." So I plan never to watch this video series again. BTW, numerous errors in the closed captioning.
