I completely forgot about this performance. I can understand why it didn't qualify, but it's not as bad as I was expecting. I wouldn't seek it out of Spotify or something, but I could have it on if someone was listening and wouldn't be bothered by it. I was really impressed with that staging though, especially compared to some of the other acts round that time.
Yeah, I mean honestly I’m with you, I wouldn’t skip it if it came on. I wonder if the album version is very different, it’ll be interesting to listen to.
I dug up a translation of the Polish parts and it seems like there's a sort of dark, cautionary fairytale going on here, about a knight who kidnaps a woman/princess he's in love with and refuses to let her go and (judging by the performance) she dies of unhappiness or someting? I may very well have misinterpreted everything. Anyway, there's just a lot going on on every level in this performance and I think people were mostly confused by it. Good vocals all around, though, and I like the individual sections of the music (ethnic intro, jazzy verses, epic soundtrack chorus), I just don't think they needed to have all that in one 3 minute song.
The final dance part is what made me not like the song. But after reading the lyrics it made more sense. I heard he actually got a lot of hate for this song and I think that final dance sequence was why.

Uwielbiam ten kawałek
