I just got a 2024 trailhawk listed for $38060 got it for $35000 so far rides good and 200hp turbo engine is very adequate plenty of power so far i am pleased only got 300 miles but seems like a solid RV
You did a fair review. After looking at several similar SUV's, I chose a preowned 2023 Trailhawk with all but the hitch receiver. Everything you mentioned, is pretty spot on. The Compass has a better interior than a Bronco Sport. The turbo is thirsty, I can easily achieve 27-33 mpg on my work commute. Without stepping into luxury or near-lux SUV's, every one of them had negatives, it was just a matter of picking the one that I felt I could live with. For the price point of a newer pre-owned, it was best or on par with the Taos/Tiguan.
A year ago I paid $42,000 for a 2023 trailhawk in white with everything , alpine stereo , 360 camera, heated seats, navigation, panoramic sunroof , roof rack, ventilated seats, remote start, both front seats are leather and power seats and more they gave me $16,000 for a 2018 renegade trade in that was in an accident. It has a lot of power 200hp turbo for such a small vehicle. It’s great on off road trails. It’s a 4 wheel drive.
You are wrong about the same features between 23 and 24. 24s can come with Active Driving Assist something that only came with the Grand Cherokee and Grand Wagoneer, not even the Wagoneer could get it.
You are on to something when you criticize the chasis. Another reviewer put this vehicle in articulation and stopped with the car leaning dramatically. He then opened the door and shut it again to see if there were any issues. He tested a dozen compact suvs this way and the Compass was the only vehicle that failed. The frame was out of shape to the point where the door did not close properly.
@TestDrivenTV Yes. The channel is CarExpert and they are in Australia. They put 12 SUVs through various tests. Interesting stuff if you have the time to watch.

Just built a 2024 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x2, 2 row. With options it priced at $41,715. Better deal!!
Their pricing has been lowered on many models. :)
@@TestDrivenTV I’d say so.
I got my 23 Trailhawk for $25,200 before taxes with a msrp of $37k :)
How do you like it so far?
Hopefully the engine has a water cooled turbo and I would suggest 5W 30 year-round and 4500 mile oil change intervals
I don't know anyone who likes auto stop start feature
It’s very nice for a sub compact, but still too small for the price.
Hoping Jeep has a Suzuki Jimny type vehicle in the works now the Rene is gone.
Was that a black metal skid plate underneath, or is it a plastic splash guard?
Plastic

We usually don't review these features.
I have a 2023 has driving assist and I turn it off . I turn off emergency braking too.
@@valeriefromoregon the 23 only has highway assist not active driving assist

That's a good test!

Does it require premium gas or regular to get the 200hp?
According to the EPA specs are published based on regular gasoline.
I just got a 2024 compass trailhawk uses regular gas the new turbo engine in it has plenty of power very happy so far
He is So sexy this reviewer. He is so amazing 🤩 at his reviews. What a great job. Very informative and knowledgeable
40k and the trunk is Manuel, and lots of features are basic entry level.
Awd is different from 4wd.
It’s 4 wheel drive even says on the back of it .
@@valeriefromoregon exactly my point. Dude said awd
Not for the dirt. Good work SUV for hardball.
