I absolutely loved the two who song "Say Something". Beautiful song originally and they made it better. The guy who sung "Take back the Night" had a voice that just blew me away. I was totally not expecting that. Bravo to all of you, you all did an amazing job!
Do you remember the GLEE scene when rachel and kurt went to see the kids rehearsing for NYADA auditions? And they sang "Anything goes"? Yeah, well that's how this makes me feel. Anyway, great job, guys!
Hello again, the greatest appreciation comes to Tracy Robertson (8:14) and Jared Jenkins (7:21). The guys who invented all of these arrangements. IMHO - "Say Something", I've never heard so outstanding a cappella performance, ever. Gj, Tracy.
That was INSANE. Say Something is just such an emotional song and this cover of that song nearly brought me to tears. And the guy singing it was incredible!
Yes, they may attend Berklee, but the real charm of their medley is that everyone just seems be having such a great time, which is what music really is about!
Pitch slapped just visited my school, Valencia High School. They were the best thing I have ever seen. They are amazing when watching on a video, but just imagine it 100x better live. They absolutely blew me away, everyone was so talented.
The hardest instrument to master is the human voice. And when you have this many musicians on the same instrument, it gets a lot harder. And as they've shown you here, a lot more beautiful. I sang all through school, from 3rd grade all through high scoll. Hearing these kids? I am truly in awe.
I've watched/listened to this so many times that I've started singing the melody and the backgrounds at the same time. I've also learned that it's really difficult to accompany yourself.
Phenom......thats the kinda talent that can make a producer weep. Great results from HARD work. Congrats on achieving such a sound............so very well done. Beautiful @ 9:21 is freakishly perfect! Cant stop backin it up!!!
Wow...excellent job...and at 8:40 the transition from a mono base to the full harmony, is just phenomenal. This is the type of arrangement I could listen to and never get tired of...great diversity of sound and style. A++
This is such a cool medley! :) Just one small suggestion you guys can take or leave though - I LOVED the dress scheme the girls were rocking but can't help thinking it would be pretty cool for the guys to wear slightly different black and white outfits - so possibly black shirt with white suspenders, black shirt with white bowtie, white shirt black vests, black shirt white-rimmed glasses etc. etc. - would have added a lot more visual appeal and single out the lovely gents as individuals more! :)
'Say Something' really grabbed me...what a fabulous song and whole group sound....very good facial with duet two. You remind me of 'Take Six' I used to listen to many years ago...all men's group.
Christine Smit your voice is the most uniquely beautiful voice i have ever heard. Must have listened to your solo at least 100 times in the past few days. Breath taking!
+newmediarules Everybody has a favorite. I loved several of the ladies, but I'm obsessed with the brunette toward the end..."send me a message, hey you usually text me, want me for breakfast" Don't know the song.
LOVE this new incarnation of Pitch Slapped. Way better than what was performed on The Sing-Off. They master this jazz vibe. More becoming of students of the most prestigious music school. I'll chalk up that Cobra Starship moment as a guilty pleasure.
Matt made it all the way to Pentatonix! Cheers, Berklee!

Yes, they may attend Berklee, but the real charm of their medley is that everyone just seems be having such a great time, which is what music really is about!
I have a feeling they sacrificed multiple people to get this good and I am totally okay with that
Pentatonix should be banned from coming near eachother they suck

This whole performance was dope, off the chain and insane in the membrane. Damn, it just took my breath away.
