Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. It is the twentieth game in the Call of Duty franchise, and the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Its first teaser was released on August 7th, 2023 and will be fully revealed on August 17th, 2023 in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 as part of Season Five live event, while the game will be fully released on November 10th, 2023.

If I’ve learned anything from the past few years of COD it’s that if they lean too much into nostalgia we should be worried.
Don't worry you haven't. Really stretching to blame your dislike of games on nostalgia, MW3 is the only game that actually did this and it's actually one of the better CoDs releseased in recent history.

Well I am now officially convinced it will indeed be Black Ops 6. It still think 5 makes more sense because there was never a game called Black Ops 5, but it is what it is. I also think they kinda rushed this teaser out early because XDefiant just launched.

Im intrested in the story but since the leaks are that campaign is supposedly open world, i feel like they're just gonna reuse warzone as the campaign map and that would be incredibly sad, like mw3s campaign.

I think cod is too reactive to xdefaint's launch this week. Xdefaint is a good game but I don't think it will overthrow cod especially with a black ops game coming out this year.

We might see Black Ops 6 being WOKE. However, Activision will do a bait and switch tactic. Like they will show you a trailer and a gameplay trailer for COD Black Ops 6 and when people buys the actual game, there will be WOKENESS in it.
