I love Vex! I always thought Bo and Vex mirrored and complimented each other. It would have been believable that they were siblings. Also Vex and Kenzi talking fashion and makeup was the best.

That's such a pity it has changed so much since the pandemic to cast people. I understand that face to face, you really feel that chemistry or not and if it's much more by tape, it's a lot more difficult for both paties indeed. Such a shame :(
I immediately believe that it woukld be so much fun to act with Anna, just spending time with this beautiful soul. I understand why they like, lined up for that. I would, too :)
A Lost Girl reboot. Like I said, I have mixed feelings about reboots but I certainly agree that the world of Lost Girl has so much more to offer! I mean, it takes so much ideas out of mythology and there is an endless source or that throughout the world. Also, the theme/vibe etc of Lost Girl is certainly a great one and I am sure many will love it. The great mix of drama, humor, action, female empowement, diversity, mythology.. It's something people like very much these days so I'd say, go for it! I would be curious for sure! :D
Knowing this was the original polit explains so much. Bo seemed so unusually angry, compared to the previous episodes. Loved how so much of the pilot was used for the episode that came before it in the timeline even tho’ they were made later. Well done all around.
I never knew until this podcast that Vexed was shot as the pilot, but now the differences in how Ms. Silk and Ms. Solo look here compared to the rest of the series certainly make sense. And definitely the right call on the part of the showrunners to not kill Vex off.
So much love to you all for the perfection of Lost Girl. This lightning in a bottle show has spoiled me. I can't find anything to watch, anywhere, near this perfection. Thank you to EVERY SINGLE PERSON connected to this marvelous, fantastic work.
I can only hope someone, somewhere, can create a series that could even come close to this one. We need it.

I love that Lisa worked on two of my favorite comfort shows, I didn't know that before.
I couldn't imagine Vex played by anyone else. He did such a great job making Vex so easy to like.

Another amazing episode! Loooved this conversation with Paul - AKA "Sexy Vexy" . Ep 8, the Pilot, I agree definitely had a different feel and look. The film, serious Bo, and the introduction to such a dynamic character. Thank you to Paul for such interesting insights and as always, Anna - excellent. The conversation with Lisa Parasyn was really cool too. Her care and brilliance in casting Lost Girl - the show wouldn't have been what it was without her. Anyone else seek out that Nicoderm commercial? SOO funny. 😂

It actually hit me, too when I re-watched it. Vex actually murdered 3 kids.. I kind of forgot that happened xD I am SO glad this show went international and even found it's way all over to my little country in Europe
They mean that it was recorded on old fashioned film and not recorded on a digital camera, like how photography cameras used to have physical film reels and are now digital. Hope that helps! Google film camera versus digital camera. Film used to be better quality than digital back then. Now, digital is very good.

If they do a reboot I'm here for it...but would they still use Canada production or Us production if, so or the mixed of the two
I'd prefer a Canadian production. US productions have sucked for a long time now.

Seeing the commercial after watching the show was like watching an out take with Bo as a flight attendant, very funny.
*overhears intro about Vex killing kids and how it would cancel*
Anna, Paul, I was watching a Japanese kids, repeat KIDS superhero show from the 90's last year where we see a kid villain die in his (also evil) mom's hands, killed by the heroes. Seeing that concept shocked me in my 30's. Lol
Seeing the episode (Vexed) at the end: hell hath no fury like a succubus pissed off.

it's kind of sad that the only way to get into the creative industries (based on what many spotlight guests have said and also just experience) is to volunteer your time or intern. behind-the-camera positions deserve to get paid too! there's so much money in the industry but so many creatives, even actors (as we've seen with the dhar mann situation), are not getting paid much if at all and it's all going to a chosen few directors/actors/producers. really disheartening :(

Reboot, Lauren helps Bo to become human. Center it in how and why, decisions. Where the other characters are now that some have died. What did the Dal become after the death of Trick?

I ain't never realized that he was the one who actually killed the kids, he made her do it. L
