Very informative. Thank you. Yes, the German cockroach decided to pay my home a visit. We've had a pest control technician treat our kitchen and bathroom and we were advised that subsequent to the application, it is common to see the cockroaches run about openly. I have only seen one adult (that resulted in the pesticide application); however, I saw what I thought was another cockroach species, or another insect. Turns out it was a nymph. Disgusting creatures. We've literally spent the last week deep cleaning our home and ensuring that all pantry items are in sealed containers...but I didn't know about their appetetite for excrement. We'll be even more vigilant in the bathroom cleaning from now on.
Hello I know this an old post but I’m moving I sometimes see roaches in my house I’ve checked behind the fridge stove and dishwasher I don’t see any signs of a nest I’m just concerned about bringing any to my new house. I’ve thrown out all my furniture and plan on washing all of my clothes at the laundry mat and bug bombing both of my cars. Is there anything else I should do? I’m keeping my bed and my bed frame is there anything I can do to treat those as well?
It is difficult to make any recommendations without seeing the property. You are definitely correct in your concern about transporting them to your new home. Honestly, to get the best success and peace of mind, having a local company perform a roach cleanout would be ideal. Explain to them what you are doing and what you hope there work will accomplish and if they are any good at what they do, you’ll be happy you hired them. Check out their reviews on Google and maybe talk to a few friends if you are unsure who to hire. Other than that, it sounds like you are doing about all you can do. If you’re in our area, give us a call.
It is certainly possible that the refrigerator could be the primary site of harborage. However, without seeing ht property, I would hate to make recommendations on exactly what you should do… except one; call a reputable LOCAL company with good Google reviews and have them come look at the problem. We don’t want to bad mouth Orkin, but you may get better service local. Hope this helps!

I had orkin come and spray for a year. I'm still seeing them in the garage by fridge. Should I remove the fridge from the garage?
