TJ's chocolate ice cream is the best. It's a rich dark chocolate, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. I've been buying this product for years. You won't find another as good anywhere else. I like to add a scoop to my iced coffee..super yummy.

TJ’s TP is the best!
I also have wheat sensitivity. It isn’t gluten for me, it’s the fiber. I’m wondering if that supplement will help me. I will definitely give it a try. Thank you for sharing this!

I’d like to hear about the breakfast blend made into cold brew. I almost bought some to make my cold brew last weekend, but it’s still too cold here (WA state).
Hi Natasha, If you have ants you can try baking soda if that doesn't work you can get the ant traps/motels at the hardware store. It is safer than having a company spray in your home as spraying disperses the chemicals to you which you would want to avoid. Best

The only cookies I buy at tjs are the Fig newtons or the Madeline's.
I like the fig cookies at Trader Joe’s better than fig newtons so I agree with you there. But if you haven’t tried the maple leaf or the cookie butter cookies then you are missing out. 😀

Hey Natasha! I have a bit of a gluten allergy, I’m going to try those supplements from Amazon that you suggested! 🤞🏼 Bought the popcorn, & LOVE! 🍿 My TJ’s store didn’t have the GF donut holes, sold out! Bummer! 😞Tfs

Celery powder has naturally occurring nitrites and do somewhat "cure" the meat, so calling it "uncured" isn't exactly accurate. The FDA only considers it a flavoring so meats that contain it can still be labeled as "uncured" even though celery powder is present too preserve and disinfect the meat. It is unknown if nitrites from celery powder are any safer than man-made additives. 🤷🏼♀️
Those chocolate chunk cookies are the best

So I am not saying some unsavory company isn’t doing bad things with it, but celery salt is supposed to just be table salt mixed with ground celery (either the leaves, stalks, or seeds), just like garlic and onion salts.
Just FYI, “processed with alkali” is the same thing as “Dutch processed “ and yes, it’s the best.
I love the kale gnocchi! So disappointed it’s gone..

Our TJ’s does not have a license to sell wine unfortunately. I wish they did. I can also never find the new mushrooms. They don’t sell them. I guess it takes months for products sold in the CA stores to be sold across the country (I’m in NJ).I heard about the peas and carrots, I’m not a gummy person so I won’t be buying them. It’s a textural thing with my son and I have dentures and cannot eat gummies. They make my bottom denture go up and down, even with the magnet that is in it. We are more of a chocolate candy household.
Papas “re-Jen-nas”. And you don’t need to dip in anything. Just eat as is. You can find them in latin food restaurants in a display case to keep them warm

Wine headaches: grape pesticides and preservatives?
Do you wash your mushrooms? If so how? Rinsing them makes them soggy and rubbing them with a moistened paper towel leaves a lot of dirt. If anyone has a good suggestion, please share. Would it be necessary to clean organic ones?
Yes, organic items still need to be cleaned. I put mushrooms in salad spinner strainer, rinse using cold water sprayer full force relatively quickly, then spin to dry.

I take a damp paper towel and go over each mushroom and it doesn’t really get it wet so it doesn’t get soggy. I read that somewhere a long time ago and it works well for cleaning them.
Just wash them quickly but don't soak. I mean...they get rained on don't they? Also, if you're putting them into any sort of sauce or soup they would potentially absorb water as well.

Do not store apples in the refrigerator?? That's a new one. May I ask where you heard that? Commercial growers store their apples, under specific refrigeration guidelines, for many months, otherwise they would rot. A lot different that tomatoes (respectively 😉)
I never had a problem keeping apples in the fridge. Are you sure?

Just want to share info on two things you mentioned: Apples are stored in refrigeration upon harvesting throughout the winter. May be potatoes you're thinking of - as it is advised they not be chilled due to its affects on elevating starch content. The other is that nitrates or naturally occurring nitrates in celery salt are not the same as msg. Apparently celery salt nitrates aren't actually healthier as they're derived from celery fields being saturated with nitrates im the growing process. So not really naturally occurring - still chemically based and unhealthy. Have to admit, ive begun to wonder if you drop these little nuggets of false info as a way of getting people to comment with true information... or correct pronunciations... hmmmnn. 😏
MSG is not “bad” for people! We need to eliminate that racist stereotype.
Where’s the food? I just see one red pepper and the rest is candy, ice cream and snacks. Nothing I’d buy in a week. Oh, finally real food: apples.
