i like this video and i would if possibe like a coaching session im silver and my friends who are ascendant/immortal say i deserve plat and im trying but i cant rank up and would like tips i usually get 20 kills a game very consistantly
Question: While it's recommended to focus on 2-3 mains, what happens if either both agents or both roles are filled in the team? Do you just instalock so that doesn't happen?
Depends on ur rank. If ur in gold and under ur pick doesn't matter too much because most likely the enemy team isn't gonna have good picks. Plat nothing matters because plat is the worst rank in the game and is filled with immortal smurfs who will drop 40 kills or with boosted people who will drop 0. If ur in diamond or above and you do not know how to competently play every single role you are throwing. In diamond and above you should be able to be like oh hey we don't have smokes, but that's okay because I know how to play viper or brim. if you're in diamond or above and you're one of those people who will lock a 3rd duelist because it's the only role you are able to play you need to make a smurf and go back and learn how to play the other roles. Idk what rank you are but if ur a lower rank don't instalock whatever main u wanna play. It will only harm you in the long run. If ur in silver or gold rn and you start filling roles every game your knowledge of not only how to play that agent but also how to counter that agent when you're playing against them will increase and you will be in a much much better spot than the hardstuck instalock reynas in gold/plat. Trust me. if you get into a higher elo game and u get 4 annoying teammates who instalock and you have to pick smokes, knowing how to play those smokes will win you the game. In lower elo you can run it down through a site with no util and win rounds, but once you pass like high plat level you need util or you will get slaughtered when entering a site.

better to get spectre just in case you die and give the enemies a vandal etc cause it can give them a window into the round
but if your on a agent like jet or reyna its your choice
Spectre. Winning second round after winning pistol is literally free with a spectre, but if u buy a vandal and get one tapped by a sheriff and the enemy picks up ur gun it is insanely easy to lose that round because vandal crushes spectre whereas spectre and vandal crush pistols about the same amount.

I ranked in at bronze 1 this act, wich I’m pretty happy about because I was unable to get out of iron the last act. I haven’t played any more ranked since my placement in bronze because I know i will be thrown back to iron. I think I am somewhat of a decent player, my biggest problem tho would be my inconsistency in performance. Sometimes I’m top frag with 30/8/2 and sometimes I’m bottom frag with 0/24/1 so I would really appreciate some tips how to be more consistent in gameplay so I don’t have to pray to my gameplay to not suck today xD
If you don't warm up you could try warming up for aim training and then working on crosshair placement mainly to try to advance throgh bronze.
@@Jafred_is_Worstfred I actually do warm up normally, my problem is that my crosshair placement gets worse with every game I play in a row xD also I think I might lack in game sense and tactical positioning, that’s why I would like some good tips to improve. I one tap from time to time, depends on how well my mental is I guess but thanks for the tip dude, appreciate it

One big issue is that you aren’t playing competitive because you don’t want to lose your rank. This is the worst thing you can do. If you really want to get better then you have to forget about your rank so it doesn’t add extra pressure during the game. Don’t worry about what rank you are in and play relaxed and I can guarantee you will rank up.

This jett has counter strafe problem, bad crouch habit. He insta crouches when taking a fight, I think he didn't learn to counter strafe properly and instead uses crouch to correct his shooting error. I used to do this when I first started playing the game (It's my first fps). Now I only crouch after taking 1-2 strafe burst (phantom), never crouch using vandal/just strafe burst.
Unless you have insane recoil control
@@Haz3x If you can't hit first 5 bullets, you're dead anyways. Everyone has their own preference, but I've seen pros whiff vandal sprays and they are the best. Crouching is not bad if you're sure you'll hit the head in 5 bullets. But in a scenario where you're in a 1 v 2 position, unless you hit a nasty spray transfer you're dead. Higher elo punishes this immensely where people often trade kills super fast.

yeah my bad im the student in the video, I was very nervous and i was very sober as it was my first comp game and it was infront of 1k viewers but all advice is appreciated.
@@untroubledspace9245 The only advice I'd give is to practice strafe shooting. You can search the strafing video of noted, try to imitate his movement (thats how I learned).

play more if u can
play more EFFECTIVELY. focus on why you died after every death.
- did I not check corners?
- did I contest space without a plan / a place to fall back to?
- did I swing and get friendship'd?
- did I use util correctly?
- is my aim/movement screwing me over?
etc...
after each game you want to hone in on these mistakes, and you wanna try playing for improvement. you'll climb much faster

play for improvement, try to find out what u did wrong when u die, what plays don’t work/ are bad what do/ are good and don’t que ranked if u feel like ur playing bad, warm up summore or just take a break then go back to ranked or play unrated idk
