Listening to Sparrow's Theme slowly transition into Maiden Voyage is not something i thought i would officially hear in SoT, but here we are, almost two years later.

5:19 Poor imitation of "He's a Pirate" Daaaaaaamn I'm still felt empty without that ost, how the fk Rare would think bringing other bgm but not the main one. Especially Jack's action in 4th and 5th part of TT, it's the right moment to use the soundtrack.
From what I can guess, There’s two main possibilities why they may have not used “He’s a Pirate”. 1) They didn’t receive the rights to the song in the contract 2) They wanted to keep the main identity of the music being Sea of Thieves save a few key moments. A lot of the time, Jack is a side character and not the main focus, mainly providing support to your crew. It’s meant to feel like Jack is joining you, not you joining Jack, so making his theme a huge portion of the music would detract from that. Regardless, I wish they had it in there at some point. Even if it was a cinematic scene like the boat in TT 4
@@ianwilliams9559 someone on youtube posted the deleted he’s a pirate soundtrack that was supposed to play somewhere in lords of the sea, it was a combination of ‘he’s a pirate’ and ‘warpath(the boss theme from sot)’, sadly microsoft had it removed
You do realize Jack Sparrow in any video game isn't voiced by him. Its always this voice actor. Even when Depp was still on contract for PoTC it'd be way too expensive to hire him for it lol
This is true in the movies, not the game. The fact that Disney is using Jack Sparrow, even if they arnt hiring Depp for the particular job itself, it is a good sign. They know Depp is the only possible Jack Sparrow,
